Delicious breakfast spot. Super eclectic ambiance (one friend said it had a Vegas vibe). Top notch service. Coffee was excellent & my key lime French toast was lovely. One star off because all options were exceedingly expensive -- even for the quality and location. It was a fun experience--but wouldn't go again, simply for the cost. Also breakfast closes at 11am. But some may want brunch around that time, or thereafter.

Food was okay, not my favorite, service was great.

Some time ago while having a beach day as we were very close to the Faena Hotel we decided to go for lunch @ Veranda restaurant @ Faena, I really love Faena, all places look great and normally food is good, expensive but it used to be in range to the other expensive places in SOBE. Wow I have to say that pricing has become crazy. We shared one beet salad, we ordered fried fish & calamari which we had to send back as not good, they took it this off our bill so good for them, two glasses of wine and we paid over $80, so practically half salad and a glass of wine came to over $40. I know we are in Miami Beach as I live here but this is becoming ridiculous, it is sad to see these kind of prices, especially for a causal lunch while having a beach day. .I normally support our restaurants but it is becoming ridiculous 😞 .Follow me on Naddia’s Favorites

Google
I had the key lime French toast which was indulgent. I liked how the tangy cream contrasted with the sweet bed of toast. The ambience in the morning is serene and the place is aesthetically elevated. Coffee was decent. Above all, service was excellent.

Google
10/10! great service, amazing food (pancakes, must buy, trust me) and lovely atmosphere. a casual breakfast at a *very* fancy hotel.

Red Comet Sinanju Got there before 8 am. Hats off to Luis the morning Host, Dayana, & Axl for their awesome service. I had the Faena Breakfast with orange juice & sourdough bread. My 2nd time there, my first was a tribute to my then German-American ex gf. Cue in the song Life in a Year by Jaden Smith feat. Taylor Felt . Tschuss und Auf Wiedersehen

Google
Super expensive place for mediocre food. The only really cool thing here is the design of the hotel. Best thing to do is go there take a coffee and save 100 bucks

Worth checking out for the location if nothing else - the setting and atmosphere are awesome. Excellent service. Pretty good huevos rancheros.

Yelp
The decor is very elegant. The service is very quick and friendly. The food is delicious. Try the strawberry Crossiant. Their food is great. A bit pricy.

Yelp
The atmosphere was so calm and zen like. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent! And our server Isaac made everything complete! So professional, friendly and went out of his way to please us!!! We had breakfast here today and we got the Key lime French toast, eggs Benedict, and the avocado toast . We started off with a croissant filled with a raspberry and creamy Marscapone . Absolutely delicious!!! We would highly recommend this hotel as well as this restaurant!!

Yelp
Many years ago, they had these lovely Orange creamsicle pancakes, but I haven't seen them on the menu in the past five years. They were so amazing. We come here when we want excellent & consistent service. The strawberry croissants are quite fabulous. The food quality is quite good. I believe they recently raised the price on the iced tea. Also, they are adding a 22% service fee these days. I would prefer to tip my server directly.

Yelp
Very casual spot--sneakers, flip flops, and athleisure everywhere. The best açaí bowl I've had in my life. The bacon was cooked PERFECTLY. The fresh coconut water in a coconut is always good and exactly the hydration I needed to start the day. Everything Faena has amazing ambiance. Would love to have breakfast there again.

Yelp
Went to Veranda unplanned after visiting the Art Display on the beach Food was so good! Prices were a little expensive but it's to be expected. I just don't understand all of the service fees charged. Truly outrageous to charge so many fees.

Yelp
We went again for breakfast, and this time we had a strawberry mascarpone filled croissant. It was the best croissant I've ever had in my life. Light sweet and savory. Amazing. I also tasted the French toast which was fabulous, which good lime flavor. This place is spectacular. The only disappointment is that the dining room was closed for a special event and they seated people in the Tree of Life area which is not a spectacular. And I found the service not as good. It took forever to get the bill.

Yelp
From the moment I stepped in Faena hotel, sat down at Veranda, to enjoying my breakfast and paid the bill, I felt 5 star service. The dining room at Veranda is gorgeous overlooking their pool. I decided to try smoked salmon tater tots with regular coffee. I enjoyed both very much. I will want to be back again!

Yelp
We came here for breakfast, we were not hotel guests, upon reading the reviews. We knew it was going to be pricey, but after the sad dinner experience a few blocks away, we wanted some quality food and service. The lobby of this hotel is amazing, the outside grounds and decor are luxurious, elegant, and well maintained. The service was on point with the expectation, the food didn't disappoint in quality and presentation. I had an oatmeal (I know, rather plain, but I am on a diet) and hubby had the acai bowl. His bowl was so vibrant with tropical colors and flavors. Our waiter was very attentive and kept coming back with coffee. As we were leaving, one of the cooks had finished placing the lunch meat and veggies on a carousel of sorts, it was amazing and unique. Definitelty an experience worth the price.

Yelp
Excellent! Great breakfast menu! I had French toast and my wife had a traditional breakfast. Delightful.

Yelp
Such an amazing service and food. For birthday breakfast, ordered the lobster Benedict and my hubby had the Huevos Rancheros. The restaurant is located at the back hotel and dining is outdoors. Still was such a lovely morning and good day

Yelp
It's a highly polished tourist trap at best. $26 Avocado toast was served on stale bread. I only took one bite and the waiter did not take it off the bill. $7 dollar iced tea tasted suspiciously like every other $2 iced tea I've ever had. Orange juice was fresh, but it damn well better be at $12 for a small glass. Service was attentive, but cold. Exorbitantly overpriced mediocre food. I've had had more fulfilling breakfast experiences at Bojangles.

Yelp
Exceptional service. Delicious food. Wonderful ambiance. My family and I came here after enjoying a beautiful sunrise walk. The hotel itself is so gorgeous. The gilded mammoth sculpture near the pool is breathtaking. We ordered the following dishes: 1) Avocado toast: the Hollandaise sauce is wonderfully seasoned. Eggs were poached to perfection. 2) Key Lime French Toast: this is a MUST for breakfast. You would be doing yourself a disservice by skipping out on key lime while in Miami! I loved the pairing of the crunchy crusted flakes with the key lime filling. We ordered 2 additional entrees to go after trying this. 3) South Beach Scramble: perfect amount of crab to egg ratio, neither was overpowering the other. The chimichurri is also to die for. If you are looking for breakfast options, please give Veranda a visit!

Yelp
Many better places close for half the price. Putting price aside, food is average to slightly below. Chicken sausage is not good. Actually terrible. They charged $11 even though the box says $8. We clearly didn't eat it bc gross. But they stuck to their guns on it. Key lime French toast solid.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning restaurant. The ambiance is magical. Staff was fantastic and incredibly hospitable.

Yelp
We were not hotel guests and had a decent breakfast here. My husband had the Faena breakfast, which wasn't really worth the price for a regular breakfast. I had the key lime French toast, which was good but needed more of the key lime cream. It was like a thick mousse type cream on top, but just a dollop. The toast should have been stuffed with it. The ambience was nice but we got eaten alive by mosquitos the day we were there.

Yelp
What an amazing breakfast spot!!! First of all, the hotel and eating area are GORGEOUS. We came in dressed very casual (and it was fine) but it's a little more upscale so that would've been good to know. My husband and I both got the smoked salmon Benedict even tho we were tempted by some of the other dishes on the menu. Mine was made gluten free with GF toast and his was made with a thick potato pancake which he really enjoyed. It was the BEST breakfast we've ever eaten. Although expensive, it was soooo worth it compared to some of the other places nearby which cost about the same and are no where as delicious. If you're in the mood to eat goooooood and splurge a bit, I highly recommend Veranda!!

Yelp
Google description for Veranda reads "airy, elegant breakfast option" - that's code for your typical breakfast food, only ridiculously overpriced. Veranda is located inside Faena Hotel - a gorgeous hotel - and offers beautiful inside seating, as well as a nicely decorated patio that's right next to the pool. I felt that our hostess was a bit rude and stuck up. She definitely gave us attitude when we didn't want to sit at the table she suggested. Mind you, the patio was pretty empty and the other people were seated in the shade and she was recommending a table for us in the sun. No, thank you! We ordered their pancakes and breakfast sampler. My pancakes were huge but tasted powder-y somehow and they were $23!!! They tasted different than, let's say, Ihop but they were surely not worth that price tag. My friend's food was what you'd typically expect for breakfast: eggs, hashbrowns and sausage. But she had to pay extra for bacon, $8 extra to be exact! How ridiculous is that?! The hashbrowns were hard as a rock. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed orange juice. It's a beautiful hotel and restaurant, but not worth my money. Won't be going back!

Yelp
Food Service - waiters need to improve customer service skills Price a little pricey for a service that not great.

Yelp
We have been stay for several heights at the Faena. The service and food were so delicious... Thank you !! Highly recommended....

Yelp
We spent our whole Miami budget having amaizng breakfasts at Veranda! The fruit plate tastes like real fruits, the pastries are home made and the Benedict's are OOTW!!! Try the Faena Bene you won't regret it. It's one of the only places in Miami where servers are trained properly and are actually good. Very rare! I only wish it was a bit cheaper so I wouldn't have to spend $160 for breakfast each morning. Love Clém

Yelp
Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone who can afford to splurge on a nice meal. This restaurant and hotel is gorgeous. I read the reviews beforehand but I don't think they did this place justice. The food and ambience made it the perfect Miami experience.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast and great service! Inside the beautiful Faena hotel. Def will visit afain tomorrow. No need to leave the hotel in the am.

Yelp
All I can say is...fresh squeezed Florida orange juice. I was taking a needed break from work with my son down on south beach, we just happened upon this wonderful place by chance while on our morning walk. The staff were very accommodating and polite. I will definitely be booking a stay with the wife this winter at the main hotel because of the service received.
google avatar

Yelp
This was probably the most expensive breakfast i had but the food is good and the fresh pineapple juice in a while but if your in Miami that the way it is !!!
google avatar

Saud A.

Yelp
Service is amazing, food is exquisite. Setting is short of a dream. But lost a star for pricing. Even on expensive standards. They are way overpriced. I had breakfast by myself. Main dish, pancakes and coffee. Bill was 100 bux. So make sure you bear in mind that it's an expensive breakfast place. Chicken sausage and olive oil orange pancakes are a must.

Yelp
Impeccable service, cleanliness, decor, and food. The servers, assistants, and host were constantly moving around to make sure nothing was out of place and that everyone was tended to. My server was Isaac, who was very friendly, attentive, and courteous. Professionalism at its highest level. As per the food, I was feeling a light breakfast, however, after looking at the menu I couldn't help but order extra. The homemade blueberry beignets were the perfect blend of cinnamon and warm blueberry jam. Enough to share, but you probably won't want to. The corned beef hash with the poached eggs was phenomenal as well. Each element of the dish had the right texture, and the combination of subtle and strong flavors worked in harmony. It's a shame I discovered this at the end of my trip, because I would have been here everyday.

Yelp
By far the best brunch in Miami and probably in the world. The quality of the food and meats is top notch. Their outdoor bbq fire pit has branzino, rib eye steak, skirt steak, sausages and salmon. Octopus was perfect. Deserts were impeccable. You will not be disappointed. They charge for a cup of coffee which is so lame when you're paying $100 for a brunch so guys change that and stop being so cheap.

Yelp
The service was impeccable! We were treated like royalty at Veranda. The food portions were perfect and tasty. We received our breakfast dishes in a pretty quick manner and the staff was very attentive. Nice decor and you can walk around the hotel. I got the Huevos Rancheros and my husband had the South Beach scramble. It's pricy but worth it!

Jeanelle M.

Yelp
Came to the hotel for Saturday morning breakfast. Had the key lime French toast and hubs had huevos rancheros. Both were exceptional. Service impeccable.

Ryan S.

Yelp
Over priced. The food and coffee is better at the airport. Please dont waste your time

Yelp
This hotel is beautiful. Had the heuvos rancheros and the breakfast burrito. Delicious.

May T.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp, but wasn't sure as it was located in a hotel we weren't staying at. It's located in a beautiful hotel. We came here for brunch andd it didn't disappoint. Huevo rancheros were amazing as was the Banana French toast

E V.

Yelp
Elegant and beautiful restaurant, overlooking the hotel's pretty pool. If you want to splurge on a nice breakfast (because it is expensive) then this place is perfect.

Taylor H.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast spot before heading to the beach or pool at the Faena! As with the service we've received throughout the hotel, the waitstaff is friendly and helpful. We loved our muesli, corned beef hash, and croissants. The corned beef hash was particularly good (and this is coming from a former vegetarian who rarely eats meat). 5 star breakfast all around!
