My husband and I stayed there for two weeks and we enjoyed it very much. We booked the Adult only package and had a very relaxing time. Many thanks to the service and housekeeping personal, very friendly and kind. We want to thank the cook at the Sandy Lane Grill, too. We had fantastic dinners every evening.

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, and everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was romantic, the room was beautiful, and the staffs went above and beyond to make our stay special. The restaurant service was incredible, and the food was absolutely delicious. We created unforgettable memories and would highly recommend this hotel. Deepasa, Taslimah, Junaid, Sadeck, Walid, Stephanie, and everyone who contributed to making our stay so memorable—thank you so much. We will surely be back.

A lovely friendly hotel, all the staff were helpful, and couldn't do enough. Too many to mention. All good. |We stayed in the Adult Sandy Lane Area in room 7105, what a beautiful view of the sea, pool and the garden. |The mini bar in the room was very useful, even though we were fully inclusive. |The spa had lovely views out to the sea, we had an excellent massage. |The deck was very good for lunch, recommend the smoked marlin panini. |Sandy Lane Restaurant was very good, fine dining, but beach shorts, T shirts and flip flops, didn't match the service and Restaurant. |In the main Restaurant dining area,, there was plenty of choice at each meal. |Plenty of beach beds, only a couple of early risers out with their towels... |We recommend this hotel, and plan to re visit.

From our 8th stay experience.||All staff from top to bottom can be commended for their efforts, the usual cheerful welcome we received and ability to commicate and discuss matters that concerned us.||Food has improved from last year and from talking to the big chef I know he has plans to improve further and to act upon some of the points made to him by others guests.||Our one point of concern this year was the beach loosing a lot of sand through heavy rain creating a hazard area. This one area that needs attention.||We are looking ahead to return next year and hope with the planned renovation of the hotel, catering facilities and surroundings planned for early part of next year this should enhance our stay.||We were surprised on checking out that we had to pay mauricain tourist tax. Please be aware as we were not informed by our travel agency.||||

The experience was completely unacceptable and did not match the description or the 4-star rating. Major issues: • The hotel was visibly dirty in common areas • 5–6 large stray dogs were freely roaming the hotel territory • Dogs were drinking from the swimming pool and lying on sunbeds on the beach • This represents a serious hygiene and safety concern, especially for families with children At one point, while I was trying to put my baby to sleep in the stroller, several dogs ran towards us and blocked our way. We could not continue walking and the situation was frightening. Food & dining: • Very limited food selection, with only one restaurant available for families • Food quality was poor and far below expectations, closer to a 3-star level than 4-star • The hotel does have another restaurant that meets a higher standard, however children are not allowed, making it inaccessible for families This likely explains why the reviews are so divided: some guests experience the better part of the hotel, while others—especially families—are restricted to the lower-quality areas. Due to these issues, our stay was significantly affected and did not meet basic cleanliness, safety, or quality standards. We would not recommend this hotel to families with children.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mauritius in search of a relaxing stay paired with exceptional hospitality. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Special thanks to Sadeck, Avishek, Nitesh, and Tasmilah for their outstanding care and attention. We cannot emphasize enough how much every effort contributed to making our stay truly wonderful.

Great and attentive management determined to make our stay a happy one. Very pleasant and clean little beach lagoon even if the water inside the reef is a bit shallow at low tide. The friendly a-la-carte restaurant by the pool was nice enough but the menu too limited in terms of choice and variation for us on B&B for a full week. Visitors seeking peace and quiet are advised to ensure rooms are booked at the adults-only side of the hotel, with privileged access to the Sandy Lane restaurant in the evenings.
