Verandah Apartments

Second time we have stayed at this place, still have to pick up the keys from a completely different location. Staff also seem genuinely surprised that a) you actually turned up on the date you booked (they didn’t have gate clicker available when we got there, even though we had added a car park to our booking) b) might be tired or in a hurry to access our room and c) haven’t serviced the various lift buttons of parking signage in over a year (it was the same as last year when we came, only now the main lift call button is very very broken). So yeah, mediocre service at best. The room, however, was great and has many of the standard options listed for such an apartment. Oh, and ask for a second key if you even think you MIGHT need it, otherwise you’ll be taking a long walk back to the “office” to get one, or waiting 30 minutes while they find one and ferry it to you.

Stayed in this service apartment in 2015 with my wife for about 2 months. Easily one of my best stays so far. The apartment is generally neat and clean. ~10-15 min of walk to the city center and close to the CBD. Many restaurants and grocery store(s) near by. Wifi was little weak but was promptly addressed. Typically the folks were very helpful even though the service could have been a bit better (although it would be premature to look for a 5 star service from a service apartment). The best part of the team was their flexibility with regards to the payment terms and willingness to bill every 10 days and agreeing to bill me on the first day of stay (rather than making the full upfront payment for the entire stay at the time of booking).

Rooms that are good value. Spacious, plenty of storage and hanging space and well equipped. Excellent location, at the quieter end of Northbridge and parking available. They were very flexible with changing arrangements and accommodating to any requests. Would stay there again.

My girlfriend booked here for us for my birthday. Rooms were not clean and the apartment smelt like stale cigarettes. I mentioned it to the staff and they said they couldn't smell anything. Very poor hygiene standards here. Will not be returning.

Beds comfy, secure parking, great location easy walk to restaurants and night-life. Wonderful, friendly staff. WiFi hopeless, outdoor furniture very tattered and perhaps unsafe, carpet a bit grotty. All in all though I highly recommend, loved my return stay ad much as first and will definitely return again. Thank you.

I love this place Tho this place is pretty expensive, But it's free parking and friendly staff does make it up. Cleanliness is good, but they have a policy that they will only clean your room every 4 days. I think it's to save water. And the waste bin is small if you have alot of rubbish, you might be pissed off like me.

We stayed 2 nights at the Verandah apartments and we thoroughly recommend it, we stay in different apartments quite a bit and have found the Verandah to be up there with the best. 1 bedroom apartment is about the size of most 2 bedroom apartments. Location is ver close to Northbridge ( 5-minute walk ) to James street the hub of Northbridge. Apartments very clean tidy and modern, good security and under cover parking. Late check out of 11am is handy. Free WIFI works very well and is fast, Views are average, if your looking for an apartment with great city views then this apartment block is not the one for you. We will definitely be back to stay again, priced very well for what you get in this good sized non claustrophobic apartment.

Elegant, clean accommodation, close to the heart of the city. The apartment was spacious and can easily accommodate a family. WiFi access could be better though; there is no reception in rooms.
