Verde Kitchen & Cocktails

Had a phenomenal time hosting my baby sprinkle in Verde’s green house. Everyone was so attentive, helpful and patient with us and our needs. They were so friendly and the space was beautiful. The food and drinks were delicious. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Monday was our first time at Verde and we will definitely be back! Started with a yummy, fresh blueberry margarita and the seasonal guacamole. This guacamole was the BEST we’ve ever had! Ingredients included all the standard guacamole ingredients plus charred pineapple, pepita seeds, etc…the combination of flavors is AMAZING!! We also shared the street corn, birria tacos, and al pastor tacos, Service was great too. Our waiter was friendly and helpful… answered our questions and at our request, made suggestions. If you’ve never been to Verde Kitchen and Cocktails, add it to your restaurant bucket list!

If you are looking for a great date night spot, go to the botanical room. The vibe is great, not too loud-not too quiet. The food is very good and I will say their margaritas are some of my favorite on long island! The jalapeño cucumber is a must try. Friendly staff and well managed— highly recommend giving them a try.

I been coming here years, even purchase gift cards. I took a break as my last experience wasn't too great. I get sometimes we have off days. But my last dinning experience was definitely my last. This was a party of six. I'm only judging upon my plate. I order the fish tacos, side of sweet plantains and margaritas. For $7 a taco you would really expect some meat on your taco and had no seasoning besides for the dressing. The drink was relatively small & lots of ice for what you pay. I don't mind paying for good food but this was mediocre and barely any food.

Surprising find from Chase dining. Booked because of the rave reviews - went home satisfied and eager to return. We were seated in the greenhouse - lovely ambiance, albeit a little too dark for our aging eyes. Noise levels were just right to have conversation. We ordered a few of the top reviewed dishes. Queso fundido was an interesting combination of cheese and herbs served in a hot cast iron pan. Guacamole was fresh and flavorful. Yuca fries were as we expected. For the main course we primarily focused on a 2-person order of the Oaxaca Market - loads of meat with a batch of fresh tortillas. The steak was the best - juicy, soft. Everything was superbly flavorful. Dessert was a single order of tres leches - big enough for us to stare. The only confusion was about parking - lots and street parking were nearly full so had to wait for a space to open up, and after it did, was confused on the space number. Lovely experience overall.

I LOVE this place. The food is so good. It has a delicious, authentic flavor thats filling and satisfying. "Verde" is always my answer when asked where I want to go out to eat, and I'd go here more often if it were up to me.

We had the baby shower, The staff was great, and the waitresses were so inventive and caring to everyone. They took extra care to all my grandkids and made them feel special. Gave them T-shirts. The food was awesome. Helped with everything from setup to clean up. Can't say enough about how great it was. Thank you all.
