Soon as I walked in I was treated with big smiles and the authentic smells and sounds of a classic delicious and authentic Turkish restaurant. I definitely ordered more than I could handle so make sure you’re extra hungry! Thank you for such a lovely gift at the end of the meal! ! If you’re a local or just visiting and you haven’t tried Verdo, you’re definitely missing out!! Thanks again ! Can’t wait to go back

Verdo special (which feeds 4 nicely, Turkish food sometimes has insane portions) Well marinated, reasonably tender and not the most crispy but dusting spice is good for the meats. Rice is dry Mushroom was nice, grilled flatbread was rlly good and dips were solid too. Tomato sauce was properly spicy, yoghurt dip was fine too. Take note this is all part of the verdo special.

AMAZING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Honestly, food is just * chef kiss *, from the starters to the main dishes, everything we ordered was so delicious. The hummus was great and don’t get me started with the lamb ribs 🤤 Portions are generous and they come accompanied with bread, salad and rice. The quality and flavour is unmatched. I’m here visiting my sister and her family from Canada and we had a phenomenal experience. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Very family friendly. Service was excellent and the food was glorious. Can’t recommend them enough. Really glad we found them!

Came here after reading all the reviews. Did not disappoint, nice wee venue, service really good, reasonably priced. Food absolutely delicious! They were actually turning folk away as it was fully booked, so that tells a story. Doesn't look much from outside, but i can guarantee you will have the most authentic and delicious turkish food.

The star of the evening was the mixed platter, a diverse selection of delectable treats that tantalized the taste buds. The variety offered on the platter was impressive, showcasing a medley of flavours and textures that truly stood out. Each item was thoughtfully prepared and presented, and the hummus, in particular, was a standout—creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. While the service exhibited moments of slight delays, the overall attentiveness and dedication of the staff were commendable. Their warm hospitality and willingness to accommodate our requests contributed to a pleasant dining experience. The parade of dishes served to our table was well-timed, allowing us to savor each course and engage in the celebration. What truly made the evening special was the joy of sharing this experience with my family. Verdo Restaurant provided a welcoming environment where we could relax, enjoy fantastic food, and create cherished memories together. The decision to opt for a mixed platter for myself while allowing everyone else to choose their individual dishes turned out to be a fantastic choice, as it allowed us to sample a wide array of the restaurant's offerings. Reflecting on the evening, I can confidently say that Verdo Restaurant exceeded expectations. Despite minor delays in service, the quality of food and the overall dining experience more than compensated. I am eager to return and explore more of their menu, as the flavors and hospitality have left a lasting impression. Verdo Restaurant is a gem for those seeking an amalgamation of great food, comfortable ambiance, and shared moments with loved ones.

Visiting from the US and went to this place based off a recommendation (from Millers Sandwiches, which was also great!). It did not disappoint! Service was very attentive and it was such a friendly familial atmosphere. The staff recommended the Verdo Special and it was such a large platter of an absolutely. delicious assortment of lamb, chicken, rice, vegetables, and sauces. That, paired with wine and the vine leaf wraps, made such a great experience. 11/10

We got the £28 Chef’s special and the food was truly delicious. Great value for me, very generous portions. The service was prompt and excelled, friendly staff. We also enjoyed the music and the atmosphere at Verdo. It has now become a favourite and we will bring family and friends here. Thank you so much for this superb meal! See you soon :)
