My girlfriend and I were walking somewhere else to get dinner but could smell how delicious it was from the corner of Newington and Salisbury.
We decided to stop by and check the menu, but by the time we were across the street it was clear we were staying for dinner.
We split humus and Adana. The first real meal I have had in ages. I think I had given up on what bright delicious flavors, its like seeing color for the first time.
I was so excited for it my girlfriend said it was like I was discovering food for the first time ever.
Bread right on the grill! The mushrooms! The sumac!! The grilled onions. The balance of savory, salty, sweet, acidic, umami: It was all so incredible If I start listing what was good about it, I would run out of room.
