Verina Terra Hotel

We stayed at Verina Astra Sifnos during our honeymoon and had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Norma suite – and from the moment we arrived, everything was truly 5-star in every possible way.||The Norma suite was the best decision we made – completely private and secluded, it felt like our own little sanctuary. The view of the Aegean Sea from our room was a dream, and the entire property was quiet, peaceful, and restorative – a place where you can truly exhale. Every detail was beautifully curated and every need thoughtfully met.||The service was impeccable from start to finish – warm, genuine, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. The staff was truly incredible, and out of the three islands we visited, Sifnos was by far the one we’ll return to – and Verina is the only place we’ll stay.||The spa was a highlight – and I’ve had many massages in my life, but this experience made my top 5. The setting, the professionalism, the deep sense of calm – it was perfect.||When it comes to food, Verina completely exceeded expectations. The on-site restaurant was some of the best food we had anywhere in Greece – so good, in fact, that we often chose to dine in rather than venture out. We even had the pleasure of chatting with the chef during one of our meals, and he was absolutely lovely – you could taste the care and attention in every dish. We still dream of some of the meals we had there. Of course, their other restaurant, Bostani, is also a must — beautifully prepared, fresh, and unforgettable.||The location is ideal – nestled into the Sifnian landscape with easy access to hiking trails. We hiked from the hotel to a neighboring town, and the island itself is perfect for active travelers and adventurers who want to explore nature while soaking in incredible views and culture.||Verina Sifnos isn’t just a hotel – it’s a full sensory and emotional experience of beauty, calm, and connection. It gave us some of the most meaningful moments of our honeymoon, and we can’t wait to return.

What a magical place and stunning grounds. A little gem on a cliff on the island of Sifnos. The location is fantastic, the staff warm, very approachable, service-oriented and charming. The rooms are stylish, cozy, comfortable and with a sea view that leaves you speechless. Sifnos is definitely worth a visit for the hotel alone. Many thanks to the whole team, that took good care of me with a lovely and welcoming manner. Highly recommend this place.

I never want to leave this place. Absolutely spectacular. The property itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. Rooms are incredibly comfortable and location is perfect. The pool is great and the beach is a quick walk across the street and stunning. A couple of great restaurants are very close. And the service from every staff member is warm, friendly and helpful. Absolutely LOVED this hotel. It’s a bit of a trek to get to, but well worth it! Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful and warm, always willing to do whatever you needed . The food there was the best we had on the island, and the chef was just super. He always came out to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying our meal. The location is stunning …I plan on returning!

Our stay at Verina Astra was simply divine! It is certainly one of the most tranquil places I have ever stayed. The peacefulness that surrounds this mountaintop hotel brought an immediate sense of awe and calm upon arriving. And going in May was lovely with all the beautiful wildflowers in full bloom!||From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at reception and treated to delicious welcome drinks as we took in the absolutely breathtaking view from their pool area. That view is unreal. It makes you feel like you are gazing out into the abyss. Endless blue. Our room, named — Pegasus was perfect! I love how each room is named uniquely and ours had such a lovely outdoor area.||Throughout our stay, we were consistently touched by the genuine warmth of every staff member. Their kindness made our time here truly special. ||Each morning began with a lovely complimentary breakfast that set our day to a refreshing. I loved the fresh orange juice and the flexible of options to choose from. Everything so fresh! ||Our room was kept spotless, and our belongings were always handled with care by the cleaning staff. I’ll also mention that the reception team was incredibly helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations and assisting us via email even days before our arrival!||One of my favorite things they helped me schedule was a local pottery experience — which I highly recommend booking! We also booked at the Bostani Spa which was an amazing way to end our trip.||Long story long, Verina Astra is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at. And I cannot recommend it enough! Every detail was carefully curated to offer a peaceful, tranquil experience which we deeply felt. Thank you to the entire Verina team for making our time so special in Sifnos!

Verina Astra is a little paradise nestled into the hills of Sifnos, overlooking the ocean, and easily the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Greece. ||Upon arrival you’re greeted with welcome delicious drinks made with ingredients grown in the in-house garden and the staff are super lovely and inviting. Our room blew us away, and we couldn’t believe the view! ||The rooms are tastefully decorated and stocked with organic toiletries, a mini bar and delicious snacks. The room service menu was also very yummy! ||I recommend visiting their restaurant Bostani, which was incredibly tasty, using local produce. It overlooks a beautiful view of the ocean and a small town named Kastro (which is worth visiting). ||This hotel is a tranquil haven that you will not want to leave. Whether you are relaxing in your room or by the main pool, you will feel right at home and at peace surrounded by nature. ||You can also take a short walk down to a small cove below the hotel which is perfect for a morning swim. ||10/10 would recommend!

Just came back from a wonderful stay at Verina Terra. We love how convenient the location is, and everyone is so accommodating! It’s our favorite mother and son trip and Verina Terra never disappoints. Thank you as always and see you next year! Efharisto para poli everyone!

Wonderful stay in Playis Gialos. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well designed. Staff are lovely and helpful. The facilities are excellent and breakfast was delicious! You cannot go wrong.
