Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum

What a great place to check out a little history of snow sports. You can make a donation to go inside. Super cool to see the old and newer technology for ski and snowboarding.

Pretty small, but interesting to learn about all the early ski lifts that used to exist in the area!

Adorable little museum ($5 entrance) with the history of VT skiing. We saw the lost ski hill exhibit which was very interesting and now we notice some of those places when we drive around the state. Cool place to spend 30 minutes if you're into the evolution of skiing.

Must check if you are in the area. I've seen a few exhibitions, and it's always great! $ contributions welcome. Lots of amazing memorabilia, great staff.

It is a small museum that brings together past and today. I learned a lot about the history of skies and also enjoyed the modern art graphic design exhibit downstairs. The posters in the shop are also fun and you never know what you will find sifting through the photos.

This was entertaining in terms of seeing the old ski equipment, ranging back about 100 years. Beware the museum is very small, so if you're tight on cash I probably wouldn't recommend. Nothing interactive and the descriptions of some of the items seemed very amateur.

Frankly, not much there. What is there is ok and interesting, but just not much to look at, and some photos and artifacts weren't labeled so I didn't know what I was looking at. Other ski museums have much much more. But, if you have some time to kill while in town, it's a good stop.

Really nice place to visit. Learn about the Stowe history of snow skiing. There is no entry fee, but a suggested donation is asked. Give as much as you can. This place needs your support. Enjoy.
