We loved it. Very informative and fun tour. I really had no idea how much time and love put into these bears. I understand the cost of them now. My daughter loved it. You can make your own bear or visit the gift shop. Not a huge place but worth a stop. If you go during the work week you can actually see them making bears. Tours are cheap too.

The “Unicorn “ from Vermont teddy bear 🧸 factory 🏭 is our purchase this time around . The place oozes customer service excellence . The service is top notch . The quality is like no other . The price is excellent for the quality . I 💕❤️ this product since I was a child .

The tour was perfect. We did the first tour of the day-11 am and ended up having a private tour that was about 30 minutes. Our tour guide was great! It was extremely educational and eye opening just how much work and love goes into each bear. They took us through the process of bear making and told us some interesting facts about the company and factory. I found it pretty cool that they have a lifetime guarantee -esp for those with dogs that takeover everything! 😂 They do have a gift shop-some things are pretty pricey but you do have to factor in labor/warranty. There were a lot of regular priced options, but they also had some sale options still!

Google
A cool place to visit for adults and definitely kids. There's a lot of parking. You can purchase walk-in tour tickets and of course, a new bear friend. I learned so much about their bear producing factory.

Google
The tour was nice and the staff was nice. However, they went on about how all the animals were made there on site by hand, that is why they were so expensive. We bought a small animal that was supposed to be a lower price, according to the sign, but we were charged over $40 dollars for a mini animal. Then we come to find that it was made in China. We discussed going back and returning the animal.

Google
If you are not in to Teddy Bears, don't go here. Otherwise, it's awesome. A Factory just for Teddy Bears. The tour was fun and friendly. The bears were cute and plentiful.

We visited on our Vermont trip. I was super excited based on the reviews and hype and was totally let down. The collection of plush toys is nice but honestly they are not the softest stuff toys I have seen. The build a bear section is sad to say the least. The great wolf lodge has a better build a bear experience and collection. Here, you just have a handful. Also, everything is very overpriced. Even their imperfect pile was about 25$/toy and you don’t get their life time warranty on those. One of the staff was very nice but the other was rude. This was at the start of the day at 10 AM. We took a detour of almost 2 hours to go here, absolutely not worth it.

Google
My son loves stuffed toys and really enjoy going to the Teddy Bear Factory. The quality of the teddy bears is extraordinary and so much better than his other stuffed toys. It even comes with a lifetime warranty. Despite my encouragement to get a soft teddy bear, he insists on getting a sea turtle. Then the staff actually found one for him and completely made his day. Amazing. At the time of this review, you can sign up to their mailing list online to get 15% off.

Yelp
I had planned to stop here before I got to Vermont. I had visited their website and found out that they had a stuffed manatee. A flippin MANATEE! Do you know how happy this made me? I didn't have intentions on taking the tour, not because I didn't want to, but because I was on a schedule. I almost walked into the pajama outlet and in hindsight, I shoulda went over to check it out. Who doesn't like pajamas? Then I went over to the Teddy Shop and was amazed by the amount and variation of the bears. I immediately sought out the manatee and snatched it off the stand. I then wondered around looking for something I could get my mom as a gift when I found a bear outfit featuring Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Glasses, robe, and lace collar. So cute! The staff were really friendly and dressed the bear I'd picked out. When I got back home a week later and gave it to my mom she loved it. Definitely a good little tourist stop.

Yelp
We went here around July of last year. If you are a kid, you will have lots of fun here since you are naive and anything that looks cute, you will want your parents to buy. If you are an adult, teddy bears with moving arms and legs sounds kind of creepy. This teddy bear factory has lots of variety in selection, build your own bear, and factory tour. Factory tour apparently doesn't operate on weekends since you will see just machines and not people actually making teddy bears at their desks. Teddy bear can be quite expensive, depending on size and options. Staffing seems very short at such a big store but I'm guessing there isn't a whole ton of traffic or they don't care you are waiting because they know for sure you will buy a teddy bear since you are here. Big parking lot. There isn't a whole to near by.

Yelp
Great place to visit with a little kiddo. Beware that there are local teddy bear and imported teddy bears. The local ones are expensive but feels it is worth it as it supports local business. I would recommend to do the tour as they are informative and fun.

Yelp
If you're a fan of all things fluffy, this is a wonderful tour! It's really cool to see the factory in action and get a behind the scenes of how much of it is really still hand made. The bear hospital where they repair damaged bears was especially cute (in particular, the bear in a hospital gown hooked up to a honey IV), and it was fun to learn about the history of the company and see the first teddy bear that the founder made for his children. Admittedly, these are expensive teddy bears, but in my opinion, worth it given the time and attention put into them as well as the process they go through to design new bears

Yelp
First time visitors to Vermont, and I highly recommend VTB if you get a chance to stop by. It's especially accommodating for kids. There's plenty of spots to take pictures, and the $5 tour (which runs every hour) is "beary" much worth it! They do a great job explaining the history behind how the company started, how it's evolved over time, and their latest collections. You'll learn how to design, stuff, sow, and fluff. You'll also learn about how to get your bear fixed up in case there are any mean dogs or accidents that require mending (free of charge, except for shipping).
google avatar

Kimber T.

Yelp
I can not say enough about this company. They have a stellar customer service. I have used them in the past for a mistake that was made and it was fixed promptly . They have a huge selection in stuffies for all varieties of people who like different types of animals. I was begging for a Tiger and they just dropped one this week! Awesome.... They are pricey on some of their bears, but when you think about it those bears are not really toys they are collectors item's. They do have a good value on there other bears and animals plus there is a LIFETIME QUARANTEE. That's pretty cool for a bear company. Needless to say we have a few.

Yelp
If you have little kids definitely a 4 stars. For 5 dollars you could take a tour of the factory and warehouse. I could see enough through the window that it was staged for little kids. A big sign hung that said sewing area and you could see 1 or 2 people sewing animals. I'm sure they had the stuffing section too. Since time was a premium for my wife and I we decided to skip the 30 minute tour. You could design and make an animal like build a bear. They had other animals besides teddy bears. We bought a pair of Vermont Mittens for my adult daughter. They were cool; modeled by Bernie Sanders. The main site was the gift shop. You could buy a $75 teddy bear with $20 going to a social cause or spend around $55 for a regular teddy bear (no special tag). All the parents and little kids were carrying boxes of teddy bears. You could also by reject bears for a discount. We only saw pink ones in the giant bin.

Sandy D.

Yelp
I'm a little disappointed with this company. I ordered a dog for a nephew in the hospital. Only to find out that there shipping of product could be from 2-10 days. Nowhere as I was ordering did It say that. In the bottom of Web site under shipping it does say that after I was told by customer service. In today's world I never thought I would have to wait ten days for an order to be put in. I order something personalized from another company that same day, and it was here yesterday.
google avatar

Kaelen W.

Yelp
The service here is good because the staff are very friendly and nice. The prices are very reasonable here. I thought the tour was very good and interesting and the staff do a really good job with that. At the store, they had a lot of teddy bears to choose from and that is very important. The bears are very high quality. For the reasons I have stated in this review, I would recommend you visit this place.

Grace D.

Yelp
Toxic teddy bears! They use recycled plastic and boast about being environmentally friendly when the facts show that recycled plastic is the most toxic kind. This is the filler in their bears! Cheap toxic filling I won't be giving to my kids. Such a shame because Vermont is known for its healthy natural approach to their products, usually! Why not fill with wool? Or another natural material? Probably because PLASTIC IS CHEAPER. I feel bad for their employees who work in the factor and breath in the toxic filler.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
This company is a complete scam. I would give it zero stars if possible. I looked at the return policy for the company before ordering. If there was something wrong I could return or exchange within 30 days. I ordered a 6' bear. The bear looks nothing like the picture. It's head does not stay up. The head fall down to the belly bottom and all you can see the the back of the bear's head. The fur on the bear also keeps coming off. Just very poor quality! I called the company to explain this to them and I was told that this happens with the large stuffed bears so it is not a defect and that if I wanted to return it I would have to pay for shipping, and that their return labels were only for the smaller bears. This was not stated in their return policy. The return policy stated returns within 30 days and $9.95 would be debited from the return credit amount. It did not specify only for certain size bears.

Yelp
I had one of my worst customer service experiences ever recently with VT Teddy Bear, trying to purchase two Teddy Bears for our daughter's baby shower. I called to order twin girl/boy bears for a baby shower and expedited the shipping to arrive on time. I never received a receipt or shipping so I called 2 days before shower. They had no order for me, yet had charged us. After second call, they assured me they would expedite the bears for the shower, but only sent the pink and blue bows, not the bears. After third call, they apologized and said they would have a manager call me AND expedite the bears again. Eight days later, no receipt, tracking or phone call. I called again and the bears were STILL not ordered, with no explanation why. The fourth representative helped me, but no one would pass me along to a manager, or seemed to care that they made error after error and also had us miss the gift for our daughter's baby shower. That kind of service is not acceptable, and certainly not the VT Teddy Bear that I knew 20+ years ago. I would not recommend them, as they certainly didn't go out of their way, or even showed that my business mattered to them. They could have called or emailed me to explain, but no one seemed to care.

Yelp
Not the VTB I grew up with. Quality has gone way down while the prices have gone up, and the customer service is the worst. Placed an order for 2 limited edition bears. Keep in mind that these bears go for around $100 each. One looked NOTHING like the photo online and the other had crooked eyes and one arm longer than the other. I sent them back for a refund after speaking with a supervisor who provided me the return label, and without any notice, they deducted a return fee from my refund. I called to try and rectify the situation thinking surely they made a mistake but nope. They refused to absorb the cost of the return shipping label even though the items were returned due to quality issues which were obvious, and indicated on the return form. They claimed the supervisor didn't make any type of note about covering the shipping even though she provided me with the exact amount I was going to be refunded, and that amount didn't include a deduction for shipping. I could've shipped it myself for less and not have had to wait for their snail mail return delivery service (which only delivers to them once a week). I've put up with the declining quality the last few years as Vermont Teddy Bears have always held a special place in my heart, but this was the last straw. Buyer beware and take your hard earned money elsewhere. 30 plus year loyal customers apparently mean nothing to this company.

Beth W.

Yelp
Maybe the staff was worn out by the holiday rush, but I found they were pretty much on auto-pilot, minimally engaging with our grandkids in the build-a-bear design center. As we were shelling out $85 for two bears I guess I expected a bit more enthusiasm. There's an expansive gift shop with quality products, but items are quite expensive.
google avatar

Ira K.

Yelp
Ordered the bear for my granddaughters birthday it seemed like a lot to pay for a teddy bear but the quality of the bear is amazing and it has a lifetime warranty they will fix or replace it forever even if the family pet was too use it as a chew toy.
google avatar

Karolina G.

Yelp
My husband ordered a bear from here and received the wrong one. We tried calling to ask for a refund and they said to just go through the return process but that means we lost shipping costs. They also told us the right one was sent but this is not the one he clicked so clearly the website is faulty and redirects you to buy different bears than the one you click.

Yelp
We did the 11 am tour on June 19th with Graham as the tour guide. It was fantastic. He was super friendly as we bought our tickets for the tour and he did a great job showing the bears are made throughout the factory. Our kids are teenagers and I was afraid they would think it was too babyish, but they loved the tour too. Graham had a lot of great jokes too! We left the factory with 3 new bear friends!!
google avatar

Yelp
This was an enjoyable factory tour. The bears are handmade and the stuffing is made from recycled plastic. Nice! The grands really enjoyed making their very own bear, with their choice of colors for various parts. This fun and informative tour is reasonably priced at $4.00 per person. I recommend visiting Vermont Teddy Bear when in the area...the bears are nice mementos/souvenirs to bring home to remember a great vacay.

Yelp
My kids loved this. The teddy bear hospital was exceptionally cute. Worth the trip.

Yelp
I have for many years saw advertisements for the Vermont Teddy Bear company but seeing as I lived 1600 miles away I never had the opportunity to visit. Well, this is definitely a teddy bear lovers paradise. The plant is surprisingly large and the showroom is open and full of hundreds of different teddy bears to suit everyone's style. They have lots of outfits and accessories to go with your new teddy as well. The service here was very helpful and they helped me customize my bear. They do offer custom embroidery right on the spot so you can add a message on your bears outfit without having to wait more than just a few quick minutes for them to stitch it out. I will definitely bring other family members who visit Vermont and I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys teddy bears. The 15 minute drive down from Burlington also offers a scenic view as an added bonus. Enjoy!

Yelp
I had a major problem with my bear order. The package looked like it had been run over by a truck and repackaged. Inside, the bear, which was a gift for a new born baby, was not wrapped in anything- no plastic or tissue or anything to ensure it was new and not dirty or contaminated by whatever ran over the box. I called customer service to get help. Each time, the rep was robotic, operating off of a script and had no idea about the products, packaging, or any way to find out answers to my questions. They clearly are not associated with the company in any way other than being a barrier between customers and the corporate offices. The company back story is one of quality and community, and the actual experience does not coincide with it. I am only glad I didn't have this gift sent directly to my friends. What a terrible impression it gave. My second order had a better box, but the bear was still thrown in without any protection. I get better protective packaging from all other vendors. Not sure why Vermont Bear is skimping like this.

Yelp
We stopped by for a factory tour and shopping and were only able to do the latter (which we could have done in a number of other towns). We arrived at the factory at 4:03pm due to a traffic jam on the road, in hopes of joining of 4pm tour, the last one of the day. Even though we could see the tour group in front of us, they didn't let us join it, with the rule that "we only allow new guests for 2 minutes after the start." It's a tourist attraction and a teddy bear factory tour. A bit more flexibility would be helpful. But the stuffed teddy bears are cute. We bought one to appease a pretty disappointed child.

Julia B.

Yelp
We came a long ways to Vermont for a weekend wedding, we were able to fit one event in for the kids, we choose Vermont Teddy Bear factory tour, I called at 1039am to confirm hours, they didn't bother to tell me they were closed for tours due to short staff . Ended up just spending 70 on 2 teddy bears and not getting a tour. The kids were very disappointed.l the managers Leah and Sydney we're unsympathetic to my kids disappointment and Argued with me to tell me I didn't call until I showed them my call log. I would not recommend

Seph N.

Yelp
Amazing staff, very helpful and kind. It was an awesome experience!! Very great place to spend my weekend!

Yelp
Who doesn't love Vermont Teddy Bears? They are just so cute. Well, this is where they are made. In Shelburne, VT. Its a factory that's open to the public, so you can go on one of their guided tours. Check the website for tour times. After the tour, or in place of it, you can wander their shop. Which is extensive. And has all sorts of things to buy, from clothes to teddy bears to notepads. Not super cheap, but not terribly overpriced either. If passing through, this factory is well worth it. Small kids will delight. Easy parking.

Matt L.

Yelp
Very disappointed. So much for made in the USA. Ordered 3 items for Christmas for grandkids and all were made in china. Will never order from china teddy bear company again. Oh and give them your email and get 3 to 6 emails a day about big sales on there other china junk. Get about the same thing at target for a lot less. Left reviews on VTB website and they removed, probably why they don't have bad ratings. Dishonest and not truthful when you don't show the reviews that you solicited, dont ask if you dont want to here the truth and only show the good. Pisses me off.
google avatar

Tera S.

Yelp
Still one of my favorite spots to visit: extremely easy to find. They have a mask policy for all guests. They also have a 20 guest policy to maintain social distancing. However that's where the weirdness ends: staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Best $19.99 we've spent.
google avatar

Kimber R.

Yelp
We've done the factory tour twice now, and loved it the same each time. The guides are funny and have so much knowledge about their product. Seeing how they are made was a wonderful experience. My zombie American mom bear is my absolute favorite(but I did get a mother of dragons bear my last visit which is also amazing). The quality can't be beat and the life time guarantee makes you feel better about the price when buying for little ones!

Yelp
When visiting Vermont and you don't have a care, stop on in to Vermont Teddy Bear, Everything here will touch your heart, With the bears that are so soft from the start, So take the tour I recommend, as it is a lot of fun, And grab a bear to go for your loved one, Vermont Teddy Bear is a great place to go, No wonder why people travel here in the rain or the snow.

Yelp
I drove past this place with my family on vacation and we decided to stop by since it was only $4 for the tour. It was soooo cute! Definitely a great place to bring your kids. Our tour guide Stephanie was super sweet and I was surprised to learn it was only her second tour! I never knew there was so much that went into making those awesome bears and I really just fell in love with the company! The stuffing is made from recycled plastic bottles and it's soooo fluffy. My favorite part was the bear hospital because I think it's awesome that the bears can be sent back if they need to be fixed or replaced. This place definitely goes the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Every part of the process of making the bears is done with so much care! If you plan on bringing home a bear though, you can expect to pay around $60. Seems pretty worth it though after you see everything that goes into making them and the lifetime guarantee!

Yelp
This place suck and if I could give it half a star I would but honestly this place is horrible and expensive. There is no air conditioning or if there is it doesn't work and I am not coming back for a lifetime. You have to be 1 or 2 years old to enjoy this. And everything is way too expensive.

A N.

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit with kids or without! You can take a tour of the inside of the factory to see how the bears are made. I'd you have less time, like me, you can go to the store section and see the bears for sale. They also sell Bernie Sanders mittens. Love this place and hope to go back!

Ali Y.

Yelp
The scenery around the campus is beautiful - really recommend in the fall with the leaves changing. The factory/store itself was great. The tour guide was funny and the kids absolutely loved it. They both picked out and bought a teddy bear (a little expensive) but was definitely worth the experience in my opinion. Staff were super helpful and polite as well!

Kathy V.

Yelp
I ordered a bear and two ornaments, was charged for entire order. Only the bear shipped. Noticed order showed complete and ornaments were "no longer available". Contacted customer service and was told that although they sold me the ornaments, they did not ship them and they were now sold out. Vermont Teddy Bear did not find and correct this issue, I had to call customer service. I would not recommend this company.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
Just took the teddy bear tour. Debby was our guide. She can answer ALL teddy bear questions! This was such a fun time. They take you through all the history and then the tour begins. You get to see every part of the process to make a bear. Didn't realize they were life time bears. If your dog tears it up or even if it gets run over by a lawn mower they will replace it no questions asked. Great gift shop after the tour. Would be great for families!
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
The tour is highly recommend! We were on vacation and had been disappointed by other tours that we had previously been on but this one was so cute. Our guide Kathrine was very energetic and fun. You also get to pick a teddy bear keepsake during the tour. If you choose to buy a bear , it has a lifetime guarantee! Small bears are 20$ and bears with hinged arm and legs are 60$. The tour is 4$ for adults and kids 12 and under are free.

Yelp
Our tour guide was great and was very detailed. A great tour for all ages. I am in my forties and found myself adopting a teddy bear for myself. I wasn't planning on this but I fell in love during the tour with the magic of the place. It's a pretty short tour but for 4 dollars a head, definitely worth it.

Yelp
As it has been a bear of an effort getting to my 500th review, It is only fitting that I review Vermont Teddy Bear for this little milestone. I ordered a pink Hoodie-Footie Bear & PJ Gift Set for a very special bear lover out in California. One of the company's bear counselors took my order over the phone and was very helpful, shepherding me though countless bear selections until I settled on the perfect gift for Valentine's Day. Yeah, I could have gone with a cupid bear, a horny devil bear, a red roses bear, a 6' Big Hunka Love Bear, and perish the thought, a Mr. Grey Fifty Shades of Grey Bear, complete with grey suit, mask, and handcuffs no less. This last selection was a bit out there for me, and I am certain that my dearly departed Grandmother, a bear collector from way back, would have seen this one as bear sacrilege, However, it's a bear so maybe Grandma would have found a special spot for Mr. Grey, The Hoodie-Footie set, like all of their bears and gift sets, came with its own box and a personalized gift card, My Bear Counselor wrote down every word of my bear limerick which she said put all other Valentine's Day gifts to shame: Flowers and roses are so old school And chocolates just make you drool But for a girl so sweet and uber hot, a gift like this may rock like a yacht Cause, you have to admit this bear is super cool Ok, Goldilocks, so maybe it's not Shakespeare, but you try knockin one out of the park in 210 characters or less. Seriously, the bear message is one of the best features of the whole Bear Gram, for it allows you to take it up a notch and really make this a gift from your heart. When this bear treasure finally arrived on the doorstep of its new bear mom, it was definitely a Teddy Bear Picnic with smiles and bear hugs all the way around. So much better than sending flowers on Valentine's Day--hey those suckers die--your customized Teddy will deliver bear cuddles for many nights to come.

Yelp
We went here for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was awesome, and the whole process is very transparent. I love how friendly everyone was and that you were allowed to bring your cameras! Would recommend to anyone in the area visiting, or even locals who haven't been!

Yelp
This review is long, so I'll hit the punchline first, then you can read the rest: MADE IN CHINA!! They falsely advertise that their products are handmade in the USA, they are not! The bears are clearly marked "MADE IN CHINA"!! So, the story begins... My parents ordered two Teddy Bears for my daughters.  I noticed there was a hole in the back of the neck on one of them, so I called and spoke to someone who said they'd email customer service to arrange for a replacement, and they'd call me back in a week. (I made it clear I do not want it repaired, I want it replaced since this is supposed to b a NEW teddy bear).  No one ever called! I called again a week later and was told to wait another week. I called back AGAIN and was told someone would call me back.  No one ever called! I have also sent two emails through the website, and have not received any response.  I am so disappointed with this company. My parents spent good money on these items, and could have bought anywhere else.  They choose this company because the merchandise is made in the USA (ha, that's a false statement), and the reviews were remarkable. Well, I have my own review to write about their customer service. After two months of complaining, they sent out a replacement teddy bear. That's when we noticed "MADE IN CHINA". We have contacted them about this and they claim that the materials are shipped from China, the recycled stuffing is from USA, and assembled in the Vermont Teddy Bear factory.

Yelp
Real bears made with love by real people... what's not to love? These are a favorite of mine for sending as a baby gift, and my 4th bear gift was received last week for a little girl with her name embroidered on the paw. THAT is something you cannot find in a store somewhere on a bear mass-produced in China! For whatever reason, I always laugh when I see the box with the air hole; I know bears need to breathe but I still laugh. Bears are guaranteed "fur" life should your new friend be harmed in the world (horrors!), and also check out VT Teddy Bear's sister company, Vermont Brownies, for amazing brownies (my go-to gift for birthdays).

Yelp
Anyone just starting to read the reviews of this place, stop here and calibrate for a minute. Below you will find three types of reviews: - The people who complain that the tour is boring or a sales pitch. - The people who complain about the return policy?! - The normal people who enjoy the factory, the tour, and their beautiful, new, HAND SEWN (possibly custom) bear. The Vermont Teddy Bear Company is a highly enjoyable activity for kids and adults alike. My husband and I went today on our vacation in Vermont, and I'm so glad we did. We paid $4 per person to take a factory tour, very reasonable in comparison to the $25 a pop across the street at the Shelburne Museum. The tour is expansive and informative and absolutely shows you every step in the process of making a teddy bear. The trouble comes when the tour guide isn't too interested in her job, or simply knows that the kiddos will get bored three minutes in, which also absolutely happens. The combination can be a bit lack luster, but it's still enjoyable. I suspect that the people complaining about the tour are the kind of people that pay to enter and then sit on the bench in the back on their phones, for which there were quite a few. The return policy is quite liberal and, I thought, quite commendable. Absolutely no questions asked- send it back and we'll repair or replace your bear FOR FREE?! Yeah, I'm not sure how people can complain about that, but apparently there's always somebody. The gift shop is full to the brim of adoptable bears - brown bears, tan bears, black bears, red bears, firemen, ballerinas, vampires, hell, even a full set of military bears! Anything you can think of, they've got it. And if they don't they can make it for you. So the bears are a bit pricey - they're handmade right in front of your eyes. You won't find that kind of craftsmanship at Build-A-Bear. Highly recommend for bear lovers, bear beginners, and anyone in between.

Yelp
Coming here has been on my to-do list for years. Everything about VTB is heartwarming. Handcrafted with love in Vermont and each coming with a lifetime guarantee, one can't help but look into bears eyes and smile. You can customize each bear to your liking with cute little outfits and even create your own should you choose! The possibilities are endless! VTB is fun for all ages. The staff is so hospitable and kind, everything about this company just makes you enjoy feeling like a kid again and the sheer bliss of never losing your childish innocence. Definitely an experience I will cherish forever and one I highly recommend.

Yelp
This was an adorable place to visit! We rented a cabin in Vermont and this place was on our list of places to go. I'm glad we did! My 7 and 3 year old loved it. All the employees were very friendly and enthusiastic. The tour was very inexpensive and the guide was funny and knowledgeable. There were many photo opportunities throughout the establishment. The bears are a little pricey but they are of good quality and are guaranteed for life! ( some funny examples were given on the tour at the bear hospital) we spent about two hours there. The bathrooms were very clean and they have a few indoor tables and small cafe/vending machine options as well. Also there is a souvenir penny press machine as well :-)

Yelp
I ordered a bear for my finance on 2/11 for Valentine's Day on 2/14. I paid extra for the guaranteed delivery on Valentines Day ! I reach out in the morning of 2/14 at 9 am to get an update as I hadn't heard anything . They respond at noon to tell me they will not be able to deliver on 2/14. They advise me they are going to deliver it on Saturday 2/15 . How in the hell does that help me . So I'm stuck at work with no gift for my fiancé on Valentine's Day . I ask to have my money refunded . They advised me they cannot as they "shipped" the bear and I would have to return it and when they get it back they will refund me . HORRIBLE customer service !

Yelp
Vermont Teddy Bear is a fun local attraction. The tour is near to hear how the company was started and to learn about how the bears are made. They are all made right here in Vermont, which is pretty cool! You can make your own bear or purchase a classic. They have a lifetime guarantee so it will always be repaired. We loved the bear pun jokes, as well!

Yelp
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE A DISORGANIZED MESS. I have never had such a terrible experience as I have had with Vermont Teddy Bear Company. I ordered a gift on December 10, 2019. They somehow duplicated my order and charged me twice. I contacted them and sent back the second order on December 21. They received the order on December 31. The $186 fee that was supposed to be reimbursed to my account for the gifts that I DID NOT order and DID return has not been added to my credit card account despite repeated phone calls. Every time I call, they tell me accounting needs to send over my reimbursement to PayPal and that it will happen that day. A few days later I call back and it still hasn't been. It's been 6 weeks. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

Yelp
Nice stop if you are in Vermont. If you want a factory tour during COVID you must purchase tickets in advance. I went the day of and was unable to take a tour. Nonetheless it's a cool quick stop.

Yelp
Every time I'm in the area, I have to make a stop here! My dad grew up in Milton and can remember when a guy sold his teddy bears out of a cart on the streets of Burlington! Whenever he's go back home, he'd get us a new outfit for our bears! I still have mine from when I was a baby! I love it!
