If you're looking for the most fresh variety of fruits and veggies, you have come to the right place! Along with wonderful artists and crafters. And don't forget the amazing food and beverages! My favorite was the real fruit smoothies!

It was my first time visiting the Vernon Farmers Market. I usually visit if it's the Friday night Polson Market, or if you really want to go into the time capsule, the previous weekday Farmers Markets held in the Village Green parking lot. There were about 30 stalls altogether set up on Monday. About 10 of them are dedicated to food and the rest are dedicated to everything else. Make sure to get there prior to 12:30 as live music ends by then and vendors start packing up. It's not a big setup, but feel free to visit if you're looking for something to do on a weekday in Vernon.

I’ve lived in Vernon with my family for a couple of years now and decided it was time to check out the Vernon Farmers’ Market for the first time as my son wants to be a vendor. It’s an averages sized market open twice a week with probably about 50-60 vendors. Nothing really stood out to me - very typical selection of vendors. But then a market volunteer approached me and told me I was not allowed to take photos while at the Vernon Farmers’ Market and insisted I delete them all from my phone. Rather than arguing with her about why they were taken as I intended to show them to my son in preparation for the summer and potentially becoming a vendor - seeing as he is still in school during market hours - I just left. Not sure if I will ever return as a customer or a vendor. You never get a second chance to make a great first impression. I hear the Polson Park Friday Night Market is a lot more fun, friendly and current. I may or may not have recovered those deleted photos 🙊

We entered the market at the end of the event. It is a nice and small market with friendly vendors. We get free drip coffee since they are about to leave. A lot of vendor provide free samples and they are delicious! Cinnamon buns and chocolate treats are very unique, the coffee we got are surprisingly good.

Google
Large selection of vendors with loads of fresh foods to pick from. some prices can be quite a bit higher than other locations to purchase fresh fruits and veg. Also a decent selection of local crafts and art.

NO DOGS ALLOWED! Only farmers market I have ever visited with that sign. Hearing no less than 5 dogs bark from vehicles in the parking lot, because obviously people think and outdoor market would go hand in paw. I'd rather have them out interacting with the others at the market. Come on Vernon YOU Can Do Better !

Yelp
Vernon Farmer's Market actually really surprised me! After going to Penticton Farmer's Market which was only a block, I loved that Vernon Farmer's Market was quite large! It had everything, soap, fruits & veggies, plants for you to grow, handmade clothes, coffee, honey, and cards. You have to turn into where the Kal Tire Centre is, and continue driving and you'll get to the parking lot. Lots of parking! I walked away with some coffee, local artist greeting cards, and some soap from a really nice couple! I would definitely come out to this Farmer's Market regularly if I lived in Vernon, as having a mix of vendors and not just food/fruits/veggies was really nice to support all types of local vendors.

Yelp
I like it here it's nice but can be tough to have an outside market this big as it is weather permitting. It is good quality and nice to have the option to support local.

Yelp
I believe this is the oldest running market in British Columbia. This place is hopping in the summer and during the winter at Kal Tire Place is a great source for local apples, local garlic, bread, biscotti, honey, treats, jewelry and crafts and more.
