All in all, not a particularly positive experience. The horses look miserable and the show is extremely repetitive, verging on dull. I was bored after the first fifteen minutes. The equestrians are not particularly well synchronized either so the performance looked like a disorganized mess. The seating is very uncomfortable (thin mats on wooden benches) and the venue admits babies and infants so expect a lot of crying and noise. The venue is also not climate controlled so if you visit in summer, prepare to boil. The staff is not particularly knowledgeable either. At the entrance to the line, I showed a member of staff my booking confirmation and she let me through only to learn that the confirmation was not sufficient and I'd have to go back to the kiosk to get a ticket printed. I had to leave the line after waiting in it for half an hour only to return with the printed ticket and wait in the line again. Seems to be more a tourist trap than anything else but it's not particularly pricey so if you have time to kill and enjoy this kind of thing, maybe give it a try. If you're only in town for a few days, I'd advise giving it a skip.

Artistic, impressive and truly spectacular. Combining art of dressage, music and archery in a show lead by female equestrians - truly magnificent. After the show you get to visit the beautiful stables in the original setting. Highly recommend if you enjoy classical performances, dressage and are passionate about horses. Be aware seats are first come first bases, and are wooden banks without back rest. Also if you’re expecting circus like performance or trick riding this will not fulfill your expectations. What’s refreshing was that use of phones isn’t allowed during the show, which I appreciated.

An hour long show performing incredibly difficult dressage movements with many different horses. A horses innate disposition is to be spooked and run, so that fact that they are moving slowly and with great precision is a mastery in training from both the horse as well as the rider (this is also why there are only certain breeds of horses here, as they are more suitable for it) I have never witnessed this level of skill in North America but it got me inspired to seek out more dressage events near me and learn more. Thank you

A must see show! Better than the palace water shows, better than the place gardens, hands down made my trip to Paris. I can’t believe the art performance I just saw, hats off to the whole team that put that show together. UNESCO needs to stamp this place as a world must see.

The smell of the showroom is bad, and the staff treats tourists badly, and they speak loudly while talking to them. There is a random, uncoordinated organization, and uncomfortable seats for the elderly and anyone who suffers from back pain. The show is very boring, and the horses look sick. Anyone who suffers from high allergies may be allergic to the hall because of its uncleanliness, And they prevent tourists from photographing the trivial show that just shows horses going in the hall right and left. 😂

Amazing and beautiful Equestrian show, very impressive. Definitely worth adding to your ticket to the palace.

Stunningly beautiful performance. The level of control and trust between the horses and their riders was breathtaking. The performers are insanely talented. Triple threats? More like octuple threats! I couldn’t believe that this performance was as cheap as it was. We purchased the 2 day Versailles passport and equestrian show tickets. We spent the entire day walking the palace and gardens and finished off the evening with this. Talk about ending on a high note. As others have said there are no announcements in English but we are in France! The performance speaks for itself regardless. Getting to see the horses so well cared for in the stables after was lovely as well.

Wonderful spectacle. I have no photos to upload because cameras are not allowed once the show begins. Take note that after ticket validation, audience members go to a waiting room. You can order a drink here but this drink can't be taken with you to the main sitting area. So, finish it up. No English announcements are made but they will stop you. Enjoy the show! It really is very cool and we'll worth the uncomfortable seats.
