Incorrect charge - Vert Lodge Chamonix
Hostelworld and Vert Lodge, why I was charged???
I canceled the booking in the right time, so I shouldn’t be charged 309.98 Euros, have currency conversion and conversion fees and lose money for something I didn’t order and consumed.
If I wouldn’t control my bills and send the email to Hostel Vert Lodge, the service provider in your platform Hostelworld, they would have simply charged for a service not provided.
So Hostelworld, this is also your problem, because you have in your platform a not trustful service provider.
If the hostel used my card improperly and charged me wrong, I want and must have back exactly the same amount that left my bank account in my currency, which is Swiss Francs.
I want back exactly 299.99 Swiss Francs back, so I’m waiting for 22,84 Swiss Francs missing.
I will not lose a single cent for something I did not request or consume. This was not my mistake and is not my problem.
Lodge Vert are receiving and profiting from their error, and Hostelworld as a platform provider is not helping at all your customers and should control the mistakes of your service providers.
You are the platform that provide the hostel to us, so you should also care if a hostel in your platform is not respecting the rules of cancellation that you provide in the platform.
Waiting still for a solution.
I won’t pay 22,84 Swiss Francs for your mistakes, from the Hostel and from Hostelworld that doesn’t control well the platform and service providers.
