The most cozy room of my trip. Walking distance from the train station, slightly uphill. Great breakfast, but the coffee from the thermos was not for continental taste. Loved the local carpets on the bed. The room wasn't 100 % dark at night. Plenty of food and cafe options nearby. Also a good place to start hikes or runs.

What a great spot in Røros! Staff super friendly and accommodating. Food at the restaurant was great. Room was clean and spacious. Good soap in the bathroom. Breakfast was superb - plenty of options for everyone. Staff helpful with recs in town. Passes my test of “twiceness” - as in, yes, I’d definitely stay here again. No question.

Excellent location and standard in a very cozy and charming environment. The breakfast was normal, good standard as you expect on good Norwegian hotels. But the dinner was exceptional good, including their proposal for wine. Renovated rooms to 2024-standard in small buildings from 1700-1800!

Dinner here was the best ever. Moules og Frittes were as good as anywhere in the world. ||Service was fantastic - friendly, discreet and prompt. Ambience is both old and modern at the same time which suits the Røros vibe perfectly. ||Everything was perfect. Thank you!

I spent one night in room no. 8. The floor was creaky. The rest was perfect. Comfy bed and pillow. Nice temp in bathroom. Spacious flat. No fridge. Location right off main street. Free parking. Nice and welcoming staff. ||Recommendable indeed.

The apartment is very beautiful and spacious, with old factory details. Everything is present and clean.
We also dined at the restaurant, which was delicious and the service was super friendly. Thank you Sara for your kind explanation of the dishes and your radiant smile 😀.

We stayed here over Easter weekend in 2022. The town is charming and full of Norwegian copper mining history. Many great options for dining, not the least of which is the hotel itself which boasts a renowned chef team of wife & husband. The local Røros beer is excellent which we enjoyed in the cozy hotel bar. The staff are super-friendly and helpful with recommendations on what to do and see. Highly recommended. After your stay, travel further west to see the fantastic Innerdalen (inner valley) which is the Norwegian version of Yosemite (stay at Phillipshaugen hotel while there).

This is a wonderful hotel in a special town. However, what made this hotel so special for us was the way that one of the members of the reception staff helped us when we had a problem with our luggage. Their professionalism and kindness will long be remembered by us.

What a lovely surprise in a largely touristy town. We enjoyed a very creative locally sourced lunch of reindeer and some quite outstanding beer from the adjacent brewery. On those rare days when weather permits, they have an extremely charming patio. The inside is nice, too, though!
