I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Vessi Metrotown . I waited in line for 1.5 hours to purchase a pair of shoes for my husband, and only after leaving the store I realized I needed to exchange them for a different size I went back almost immediately—literally within 2 minutes—to request a simple size exchange. However, the manager told me I would need to stand in the entire line again. I explained that I had already waited 1.5 hours, but she insisted she “doesn’t have to do anything” and said I must either line up again or come back the next day.
Because of the Black Friday sale everyone in the store were busy but really helpful and kind , but the manager’s response was extremely disappointing. A basic exchange should not require a customer to repeat such a long wait, especially when the mistake was discovered right away. I would completely understand if I had returned hours later, but this was within minutes.
Because of this, my husband had to travel all the way from Coquitlam back to Metrotown for something that could have been resolved quickly on the same visit. Even if I had stood in line again, the store would have closed before my turn.
As a long-time Vessi fan, this was a really upsetting and sad experience. I truly hope this situation can be addressed so other customers don’t go through the same thing.
