It was the last stay on our visit to South Africa and the b&b was welcoming, friendly and everyone was very helpful. Our room was very large and the bed was super comfortable (we'd been camping in the bush previously). The breakfast was really nice with a choice of hot food, cereals, fruit, yoghurt and toast plus tea and coffee. After checking out we were able to leave our luggage while we went on a cycle tour of Soweto.

In the heart of Soweto, this property is very well located. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming but the property could have done with some improvements. My room was spacious but over furnished and thus space could be an issue. The TV, fridge and Air Con did not work. Power cuts in Johannesburg are common on a daily basis and one night the power was off for 4 hours. Was offered a torch by owners. Clearly not their fault. Wifi only operated in reception area and was very intermittent ( dropped out every 3 mins ) but again maybe not the owner's fault. Bed linen ( bed very comfortable) and bathroom very clean.| Bathroom well equipped but rest of room could have done with a spruce up and re paint. Walking distance to some good restaurants but not safe for single, white female to go out at night. Breakfasts served at a communal table and were very filling and well cooked. So overall: some highlights but some reservations too.

Arrived yesterday after a safari and am currently awaiting transfer to airport. Lovely place, great food, comfiest bed in Africa. Feels like I’m at home. Just round the corner from Mandela & Tutu’s houses and lively restaurants. If I ever come back to Joburg I’m coming here.

I would highly recommend this B and B for many reasons including the location to Nelson Mandela's home and the wonderful friendly hospitality given to us by Cate, Rose and Maria.||The cooked breakfast was amazing and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to have our clothes washed after doing a 9 night camping safari tour. The room for my fiance and I included 2 double beds and a single, along with a bathtub, huge shower and walk in wardrobe area - the whole room was amazingly spacious.

Very comfortable room with huge sunken bath and two double beds! Very quiet, and good breakfast. The staff were very helpful: my washing was done and returned the same day, and I was accompanied at night to the nearest restaurant (for peace of mind). ||||The only downside for me was no internet access.

The location is nice.... they have secure parking 100m away. The rooms and bathroom are clean, a little cramped but comfortable.

Booked for 2 nights with a group of friends, had a wonderful time at this place. Rooms are clean, breakfast was nice and the people are friendly. Our host Cathy is the best. Will definately come back next time I visit Jozi.

Very comfortable ( Bordering on trendy) Guest House. off Vilakazi Street. They also offer tours across SA. The rooms were large and spacious in a quiet street, offering a welcome break from the bustling area.
