"Coffee among the Palaces Pop by the Strada Nuova in the early morning for a cappuccino in the sunshine between the beautiful palaces. With a few coffee bars to choose from, you can always find a small table outside to enjoy the passersby as they head to open their shops and catch their buses. (Personally, I love the M cafe and bar inside the Palazzo Rosso, but there are plenty to choose from!)"

Incredibly friendly people and incredible service! They spent time to explain the menu and even gave a small history lesson on the building. Located in a quaint neighborhood of beautiful old buildings. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Espresso and food was very nice. This has been one of the highlights to my stay in Italy so far!

To truly experience the beauty of the Palazzi along the via Garibaldi you must first pass through the front door. There are several museums and stores, some on the first floor. This is not a classic shopping street it is in fact a touristic highlight and well worth a stroll. It's nicest in the early morning.

Splendid private palaces / houses belonging to insitutions like banks, municipalities where the entrance is open to the public to discover frescoes

Unforgettable experience! The interiors of the palaces are like gems hidden behind grey facades. Guided tours are very tiring but interesting.

Wow this place is Amazing... You walk through small alley ways then come standing in front of a Massive Marble Church... Myself and my family we're blown away with these landmarks.

Good for a walk down history. The buildings on both ides of the street belonged to the Genoese aristocracy. Some of them are public buildings now while the others are privately owned

A beautiful street full of gorgeous Genovese palaces, one of which houses the municipal offices.

Yelp
Fabulous must visit part of Genoa. I am in love with this city and it's massive medieval centre which is supposed to be the biggest in Europe. Via Garibaldi is an amazing street with lots of small palaces and amazing architecture surrounding it. I could spend days here photographing buildings and narrow lanes :-)))) I would recommend this as a must visit :-)
