Service is attentive and kind, paying attention to each detail without being the slightest bit bothersome. The food was presented beautifully. The bone marrow appetizer is a fantastic starter for the table. The cream brûlée was delightful as well as the rice pudding. For entrees, the octopus was a work of art that tasted exquisite. This is a go to when visiting Lisbon because not only will you have good food, you will be presented with a beautiful view of the city.

Wonderful food, amazing setting and incredible service. Cant recommend this restaurant enough. We both said it was one of the best restaurants we’d ever been to. I’d been unwell and had food poisoning in the days before coming to the restaurant and they really looked after me when I felt unwell again (nothing to do with their food, the food in Via Graça was incredible, some of the best we’ve ever had!)

We had an incredible evening at Via Graça. The food and wine pairing was phenomenal—every course was beautifully matched and elevated the experience. Each dish was creative, flavorful, and perfectly executed. We were seated right by the kitchen, which I’d say is the best seat in the house. Watching the precision and care that went into each plate added to the whole experience. The views over Lisbon at sunset are stunning, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive without being overbearing, making us feel truly welcomed. Highly recommend Via Graça for anyone looking for a memorable fine dining experience in Lisbon.

The finest dining experience we had in Lisbon. The service was excellent. The view was lovely. Even the washrooms were unique and impeccable. But above all, the food was sublime. A real treat.

Amazing 🔥🤩 Every table has a wonderful view of the city! We went at sunset — the experience was 10/10, totally worth having dinner there. I highly recommend the octopus, it was incredible.

Via Graça completely delivered on every level. The views are stunning—some of the best in Lisbon—and the whole space feels intentional, from the curated artwork to the details in the design. Even the bathroom, with its sleek style and black toilet paper, felt like part of the experience. We started with the scallops, warm bread, and shared the grilled turbot. Portions were much larger than expected, and everything was plated beautifully and full of flavor. The standout drink was the Castillo, served up in a martini glass—elegant and bold, with a perfect balance. Service was phenomenal, especially from Pamilla, who made us feel taken care of from start to finish. For dessert, we shared the spoonful of Belgian chocolate and the fruit tart. Both were indulgent in different ways—the chocolate rich and smooth, the tart light and fresh. It’s definitely a splurge, but for a special night out with a view this striking, Via Graça is absolutely worth it.

A restaurant with a stunning view of Lisbon. The food is very good and staff are attentive. We had the whole grilled turbot (limited quantities) which was fresh and very good. It comes with plenty of sauces on the side and different types of salt, if you fancy. The fish is actually good on its own and a highlight on my trip to Lisboa. Make a booking please as it is very busy.

This is really hard to explain with words, you must experience it. Amazing view, incredible wine selection, both our waiter Leonardo and chief Fernando are amazingly passionate about food and wine. Everything we tried, starting from bread with goat butter, starters, lobster rice, iberico pork, and deserts was simply excellent!

Nothing but GREAT things to say about this place! Obviously the view is the star of the show but the drinks, wine, food, and service matches the incredible view. Such a wonderful and romantic date spot and the perfect place for golden hour. We can't thank the staff enough for their welcoming service and recommendations! Also get the "spoonful of chocolate" dessert! SO GOOD.

Probably one of the most amazing restaurants I've been to so far in my life. This restaurant has some of the most amazing views. Granted it's a hike to get to the top, but the food and views make it worth it. The wine list is extensive and the recommended wines were off the charts. Portugal has some amazing wines but I do not know much about them, so I always ask for recommendations. The service was amazing, our glasses never went dry and empty plates were picked up as soon as we were finished. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. If you're ever in Lisbon, this place is a must try.

The ambiance here is a solid 5 and reason alone to come here!! The staff is great too. We had two waiter's and they could not have been nicer and attentive. The food: my dish of cod and chick peas was amazing. At first glance, I didn't think the fish was cooked all the way through, but it was perfect. Flaky, buttery and salty. My son really enjoyed his food and dessert. My husband on the other hand wasn't crazy about his lamb. He said it didn't taste like lamb, it had a peculiar taste to it and he didn't think it was a lamb, but maybe a kid which has a completely different taste. I am not a fan of lamb, and I did try it too, and have to admit it's funkier then I have tasted in the past. At the end, my husband said it was the best tasting €40 something tasting potatoes (which came with the dish). When the guy came over to clear the table (not our waiters) he asked how was everything and my husband told him the better lamb was not my favorite or maybe something like, I've had better. He then asked what he meant by it, and my husband told him, I don't think that was lamb-to which he shrugged and walked away with the dishes. Ok?? So, when our waiter came and asked for anything else like dessert or coffee there was no mention of-hey they told me you didn't like the lamb, nor did my husband mention it again, because once said should have been enough. Well, we got dessert paid and left. Aside from that, all was pretty good.

Good food incredible views and awesome drinks. They have a signature chocolate margarita style drink you must try and it's served by one of the friendliest bartenders (that's her and the drink )

This restaurant needs more hype! When we first got here, we thought their entrance were somewhere at the bottom and had to take a lift for the restaurant to get the view. Didn't know they just open at 19:00 for dinner, they just need to fix their hours online/Google. We were greeted by a lovely host and seated us. Our view was spectacular at night, our iPhone cameras didn't have the capabilities to capture the view at night without having the glare from the mirror, but that's ok it's in our memories. We first asked for water since it was a hike to get here, I refused to get an Uber since I thought it was walkable. Menu in English follows after Portuguese. Ordered a starter/share, was bread with diff spread, we loved their crab pate - so delicious. Then we also had tiger prawns, my husband loved it since it had the fat. For our main, I had the sea bass with rice, yummy. My husband had the foie gras with steak, another delicious meal. Then for desert, we opt for the warning desert which tasted like s'mores without the chocolate, it was really good. For cocktails, we asked the wait what he recommends or what he likes to drink from the bar, he came out with whiskey sour with white eggs- it compliments the whiskey taste. It was so good! Then 2nd cocktails was so refreshing, it was rum with pomegranate. So so good!

Wow, what a great view and memorable experience. We arrived while it was still sunlight and got to take pictures of the sun setting over beautiful Lisbon. This restaurant has plenty of tables with full windows to get views of the city, the water, the Christ the King monument in the distance and St. Jorge's castle. And after the sun goes down, there are open windows you can take pictures without glare. The service was excellent. Now, we did spent copious amounts of money so I don't know if they always have good service or if they saw us as a money grab. Anyways, it was a good evening. I enjoyed the grouper, lobster risotto that I had and my wife enjoyed her lamb. The starters were very good as was the dessert. We had a great red wine called Dao which I was unfamiliar with and we also tried some Ginjinha which was excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic dinner and dining experience. I do recommend it because of it's stunning views.

We chose to spend 2017-2018 New Year's Eve there. One of the best views of the city, all tables overlook the castle and decorated rooftops of Lisbon. We whose the tasting menu, each dish accompanied by wine. We started with an amazing crab soup, the fish dish was cod and meat dish was beef in a pastry. All well cooked and impeccably presented. Wine pairings were appropriate, smooth and well matched to the dishes. We finished our meals with 10-year tawny port wine, champagne and traditional pastries for the holidays. (See photos for water mouthing visuals...) At the end of the night, we had the chance to meet with the owners. Absolutely lovely individuals, with love for good food and wine. Adventurous and traditional, a philosophy that is reflected on their food. They made sure all their guests had a wonderful time, and we were delighted to start 2018 on a positive note, with exquisite food, great wine and fun conversation, enjoying the fireworks of Lisbon. Amazing incredible dinner - this is the best way to start the review!!!! Arrived at 08:30 PM whithout knowing what would find, and it was simply the best!!! The venue is small to allow evey single table to be near the window to enjoy the lovely skyline from Lisbon. But the food is where it shines!!! Both my wife and I had Bacalhau, and mine was the grilled one with potatoes... tasted so good that I will never forget the heavenly flavor... All paired with a great white wine from Dao region and boom the combination is out of this world. Remeber this is fresh food, ao it will take some time to be prepared and you will not regret!!! Chef Joao and his crew is unbelievable. A must for everyone visiting Lisbon. PS make a reservatio, it is the only way.

Nice view. Food decent, but not great. The view and nice environment is what gets the 1 star. Ordered 2 entrees, an appetizer, and a bottle of wine. This was all fine, but we were charged for the bread/olives we refused upfront because of the habit of Portuguese restauranteurs to force a purchase upon people (not legal in Portugal). Anyway after amending the bill for 10 EUROs for some bread and olives we refused up front I received 5 EUROs in change for a 100 EURO note I had. The other 40 EUROs weren't returned. That is two screw ups at the very end within minutes, which just set an extremely sour note for the overall experience. Tourists -- buyer beware! Check your itemized receipts, and don't get defrauded. Some tourists do -- that is why they keep trying to screw you especially if you've had some wine or alcohol consumption. Stay alert, review your bills! They take tourists as DUMB money bags. P.I.G.S.

If you love stuffed fish roles, curry foam, foie gras in Portwine in a rather rotten building this is the right place. Sure it's a pretentious place: you will be appreciated by a noble steward with linen napkin and sparkling wine and a seat at the window with sunset over Lisboa. But the meals are an indistinct mix between British and Novelle cuisine only.
