If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The food is incredibly fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor—you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. But what truly sets this place apart is the service. The staff is warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make our evening special. This was hands down the best meal we had in Athens. Don't miss out!

A nice place, very elegantly designed. The menu is essentially tapas, so the portions are small, which you are informed about in the beginning. The dishes weren’t anything exquisite, but were very well made, by all means. However, the price-value/uniqueness contrast wasn’t super fair. But the space is super chic, and you can have a lovely dinner date. We got 2 different types of pasta, focaccia (which was amazing), sashimi, a sliced tomato with some cheese, and two glasses of wine. While the environment and the atmosphere is very elegant, my take is that there are other spots in Athens to offer something more interesting for the same price. However, if I were in the area I wouldn’t deny revisiting if someone else mentioned it. It was also a nice touch that they bring some herbs for the table in the beginning, for us to add to whichever plate we want (basil, coriander etc). Really cute.

It's a small/sharing plates restaurant. I like this style with company, as you get to try many dishes. They are fusion cuisine, my favourites were probably the beef tartare and the carrots. The plates were a bit uneven, although I wouldn't say anything was bad. Great service, good atmosphere.

What an amazing experience! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious – colorful, creative, and a beautiful reinvention of Greek cuisine. The fresh tomatoes with cheese, the olives, the bread with dip, and especially the calamari… just outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic yet modern Greek food with a friendly atmosphere. A must-visit!

We chose the place because of its great Google reviews and being a place recommended by the locals. We were not disappointed. We had a tremendous night with excellent food and an outstanding waiter, Janis. He suggested a fun cocktail game with dice and we received three very delicious signature drinks. Throughout the dinner, he explained every ingredient in a very entertaining and fascinating way. Jannis was so energetic and fond of his job he really was the cherry on our cake. We enjoyed roughly 3 plates per person from veggies to fish to meat to cheese to great chocolate desserts. The dishes were super creative and very well seasoned, often with a surprise twist.

A high quality food and service experiance with a relatively cheap price. Our favorite resturant in Athens. For us, the fukacha, sashimi , and scalps dishes are a must have at every meal

Our experience at Via Maris was truly wonderful, mainly thanks to the outstanding service. The atmosphere was very pleasant, but what really stood out was our waitress, Kelly. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. She made us feel welcome from the very first moment and took great care of us, always with a warm smile and positive energy. Kelly was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great dining experience. Her service added so much to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Excellent service like this is hard to find and deserves special recognition. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back!
