VIA University College - The Animation Workshop

I took a few semesters at The Drawing Academy (TDA) in 2023. The teachers were good at their craft and some were good at teaching as well, but it was a bad work- and learning environment because of very poor treatment of the students.

One of the best art schools in Europe and in the world. Everyone is super nice, friendly, you'll feel right at home in there as a student. They offer a variety of courses and bring in international teachers and people from the industry to teach and inspire students, or to deliver lectures. Placed in the middle of a small Danish city called Viborg, The Animation Workshop has a 20+ years of art tradition. Their curriculum is always relevant and permanently adjusted to the industry standards. The word that comes in my mind connected to TAW is this: POSITIVE ENERGY!

Best place in the universe. A haven for animation and comic artists, no matter which course or study. Extremely international, you get to meet so many different creative people. High quality teaching with teachers pulled right from the industry. Lots of free extracurricular activities and events. The halls are busting with posters, drawings, ideas, and lots of easter eggs for artists willing to look for them.
