came here bc viajero medellin was super nice. but the room was a catastrophe. the room only had the bed and a small table, it felt like a prison. the room was very stuffy, the pillows smelled like urine. the tap didnt have any pressure in the bathroom. it’s also very loud. there was no safe in my room, when i asked they just said „well you should have one in your room“. the social events are not taken care of, it feels more like a haunted house. also, it‘s far away from the centre. staff was mostly friendly though. would not recommend.

It feels like a home in the heart of the city, where friends can joyfully work and have fun side by side. The staff are kind and helpful. There’s a lively WhatsApp group constantly inviting guests to various activities, including salsa dancing classes on the rooftop—great for exploring all the island has to offer. The room is spacious and the air conditioning works well. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it. They could improve the bar a bit, and the breakfast—both in terms of price and variety—could be better. It reminded me of a university cafeteria breakfast. The fruits could be served fresher. And if you’re a tea lover—forget about tea on the island, it doesn’t exist. Here, you’ll be drinking coffee. Three days are enough to explore the island in general. But if you’re coming for a diving certificate, plan for 6 days: the training takes 4 days, and you’ll want a day before and after to rest. Enjoy your time!

Great place to stay on a budget. Aircon works great. Location is near supermarkets and easy access to the city center. Rooms have plenty or room. Breakfast is great value for what you get. Only downside is Friday’s and Saturday’s they do parties on the rooftop and you hear it in the room. But they do stop at 2am. But besides that it’s a great stay.

My friend and I stayed at Viajero for 2 nights and it was a great experience! The property is pretty clean with all of the basic amenities you need. It’s a pretty quick walk to the beach as well. The staff is also really lovely!! I definitely recommend

Location is just perfect, really near to the beach and stores. Service and staff is also wonderful! The facilities could improve but my stay was great for the price. Thanks a lot!

⸻ This hostel doesn’t represent the Viajero chain. I usually enjoy Viajero hostels, but this one was disappointing. The location isn’t good—10 minutes walking from the beach, restaurants, and everything else. No elevator in a tall building, no hooks in the room or bathroom, and no proper storage. It’s very uncomfortable, especially for a beach city. The only common area is the rooftop, which is empty most of the day. My shower had no water pressure the first day (fixed later). Overall, bad location and uncomfortable rooms. Not recommended. ⸻ Let me know if you’d like it translated or adjusted further.

Friendly staff, fairly comfortable beds. Everything old and not clean. Stains on the wall. Almost all of the towels we had also had stains on and some even had holes. The bathroom door was hard to open/close, the facility manager looked at it and said he would come back to fix it. He never did. The shower is shit, there's barely any water coming from it. All in all quite disappointing, much worse than other Viajero Hostels, also the price was not cheap at all, but I think okay for the island.
