My mom and I took a trip to Portland in December and one of the highlights of our trip was Viand. The curation of this store is top notch and I haven’t been in a store in years with this much attention to detail and truly amazing products. Everything from the tape dispensers, toothpick holders, hand embroidered table linens to a stunning Picasso print (that I still regret not purchasing) is perfection. It is all thoughtfully arranged and every piece is a 10/10 in quality. We loved it so much we went back 3 times during our trip there. Jenny and her team have created something so special and unique that I wish I had something like this near me. It’s worth your time to stop in and get inspired and support these amazing women and what they have created. A huge thank you to them all for reimagining retail in a way that is so unique and timeless.

The most beautiful collection of home goods. Gorgeous, unique furniture pieces! I was lucky enough to find the perfect piece of art to bring back home with me. If I lived in the area, I would be here often!

I got to experience this shop on their first open day! I loved the mix of antique furniture, special home goods and the various “rooms of the house”.

A truly wonderful shop that has welcomed us into Portland. We found unique gifts for friends and items for our home. The owner has gone above and beyond in not only remembering us time and again but recommending gifts for any occasion. Highly recommend and always a treat.

This shop is perfectly curated with Maine-based goods and unique finds from around the country. We’ve added it to one of our first stops when trying to impress friends from out of town. Oh, and the people working there are unbelievably helpful and nice.

Drove up from Boston to check out this store! It's chock-full of beautiful products; from vintage and one of a kind finds, to small-batch and handcrafted items. The staff is so friendly, and you can tell how excited they are to share what's inside the store with their customers! I love being able to ogle over linens and art with the curators who assemble them together! I spent time looking at the amazing vintage rugs, smelled every candle and body product, and gawked at the gorgeous office products I didn't know I needed (red mid-century modern stapler, I'm coming back for ya!!). There is something here in everyone's price range, but please keep in mind, this is a bespoke store, so consider the artists, makers, and craftsmanship it takes to produce these items when looking at prices. I left with a small gift for my friend (a set of 4 olive coasters), priced very fairly at $9. She loved them, and now I'm feeling I should have gotten a set for myself... I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town and see what else they've brought in!

Yelp
Viand is a wonderful high-end home decor (and trinkets) store. Their selection is very thoughtfully curated, and is a great mix of trendy and timeless. Everything is extremely high quality, and I believe local artists are supported by Viand. The workers are professional, sweet, and chic. My one qualm is that it is very pricey and I often don't find anything that fits my taste, despite the store being filled with wonderful finds. Worth a look for sure!

Yelp
Cute little home decor store in the city! Unique items. Think of a vintage modern mix items with a Maine feel. Super cute stuff for children. Unique patterns for bed linens. Expensive stuff in my opinion; for an example a candle cost about 54 dollars (a small sized one) but the quality was good. Worth checking out!
