Viandante Café - Gelateria - Tabacchi

I think this restaurant had a gold value for money set menu. There are three to choose from and we tried two them. We were pretty pleased with them even though they were a bit underseasoned at times. But some salt and pepper fixed that. The waiter we had was very nice and professional. Overall a nice experience.

Not so good gelato and a tourist scam. Each scoop was supposed to cost 3€, but if you choose a cone, the price suddenly jumps — and the portion size changes too. We asked for a small one, but at the counter we ended up with two huge gelatos that cost 18€. The tiramisu flavor was bad and tasted like a cheap store-bought one. We ate a little and then threw them away because they were way too big. Definitely not worth it.

not real gelato, you will never find a place in italy that sells a BUCKET of gelato for 8 euros, it’s regular ice cream. not bad, but it’s not real gelato. the issue is, every “gelateria” in Sirmione seems to be like that and this one was the least worse option

They have the best Limoncello Spritz! I also tasted it on other places, but this was the best one. I really recommend this. The young staff was really nice and attentive. Also it has good location with a great view on the Castle. Don't miss getting a drink there if you go to Sirmione. I regret we had to catch the bus the last day and didn't have time to go there again for another drink.

Excellent Restaurant - the quality of the food is very good. Price is totally worth it! The Service is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is lovely! Calm place where no hundreds of people crossing your table while your eating. Good sound!! Highly recommend this Restaurant.

Very nice food and good service. The waiters are very considerate, we ordered the salmon and octopus salad, both were sumptuous. For dessert we had the tiramisu. All good spoke straight to my soul.

Total scammers! This place is the very definition of a tourist trap! We paid a total of 30 euro for 3 gelato, having total of 6 scoops/flavors. The thing is it doesn't matter how many flavors you want the end quantity is the same so even if you want just one type of ice cream tou get a full cone that you can't even eat. Not to mention the price is double as usually you pay for the same quantity 5-6 euros everywhere. Avoid the scammers at all costs!

Tourist trap!!!! Very bad experience! Avoid this gelateria. We wanted to get a single scoop for €3.50 in a cup, as clearly shown on their price list. However, the saleswoman literally forced a half-kilo serving with two flavors on us and charged €10 for it. There was so much ice cream that our child couldn’t finish it, and we ended up throwing it away. A really disappointing memory from an otherwise beautiful town of Sirmione. Beware of such scams and rather enjoy your gelato in one of the gelaterias outside the town center!
