I bought the ticket online at get your guide so it was €2 cheaper than the offical site or offline. Be prepared to hike to the castle and within the castle itself 😂. The inside wasn't as big as i thought (i thought there were more bedrooms but maybe it's because it resides inside the closes quarters). It was interesting, and more if you're the museum person type. I am not, so i just take a round for 1 hour 😂.

Beautiful castle. Definitely worth a visit! You can come via train and bus (lines 180 and 181) from Luxembourg and it takes approximately 1 hour.

Vianden Castle is absolutely stunning! There are about 22 rooms open to visitors, and each one has its own unique vibe, making the experience diverse and captivating. The rooms are beautifully preserved and offer a real sense of history, giving you a glimpse into different eras and styles. The architecture and decor are incredible, and the views from the castle are breathtaking as well. Definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in history, architecture, or just want to explore a beautiful landmark! 🥰

What a beautiful castle! Fully restored in the 1970s, it’s exceptionally well-preserved. Vianden is a lovely town, and I highly recommend visiting during the Nut Festival in October—although it can get a little hectic if you are into more calming activities. Tickets for the castle can be purchased at the entrance, so there’s no need to book in advance. There’s also a nearby parking lot with very reasonable rates.

Amazing place to see, this castle has a lot of history, 10€ entrance fee it’s totally worth it. Transportation was totally free from Luxembourg both ways, it took about 1 hour. Definitely recommended

This castle was so nice and you could know more about the history of the Vaudan dynasty at the old times. This place looks far from the city centre of Luxembourg, but actually that was so easy to get there. The Google map helped a lot and showed accurate information about the transporation. Before we started our trip we worried there would be difficult to access but turned out it was easy. When we got there I felt like entering the castle in Disney cartoons. It was really amazing. We spent about 1.5-2 hours to complete the route and sufficient to read through almost all information. Also digital audio guide is available which costs €2. That helped a lot.

A Historic Castle with a spectacular view from the top.. The castle’s self-guided tour takes you through grand halls, a chapel, and displays of medieval weaponry and old Kitchen tools used back in the days. It offers incredible Instagrammable views for photographers and social media post. Vianden Castle is an affordable and memorable experience for history enthusiasts and travelers alike. A must-see when visiting Luxembourg!

Great historic castle to visit in Luxembourg. It has lots of historic information and historic things preserved. And in spite of being historic, its indoors have a modern look and upkeep. Please keep in mind that there is a steep hill to climb to reach the castle. So if there is any elderly person visiting, they could make some arrangements for themselves. The public transport from Luxemberg city centre would take at least 1.5 hrs as the buses and trains are on an hourly basis. Overall, it was a nice castle to visit.
