Viang Tha Phae Resort Hotel

The facilities are simply wonderful, surrounded by a beautiful and peaceful environment that makes the whole experience truly relaxing. The swimming pools are stunning and very well maintained — perfect for unwinding at any time of the day. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel at home straight away. Another detail we really appreciated was that the amenities were replenished every single day, including coffee and Thai tea in the room, which was such a nice touch. If there was one small suggestion, it would be to add a few more hooks or hangers in the room for towels and swimwear — this would make it even more convenient. But honestly, that is just a minor detail compared to the overall wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, and we would love to come back ourselves.

Withing walking distance to all the central attractions and restaurants, but down a small street so you don't get traffic noise etc. The rooms are beautifully appointed in a traditional Thai style, clean, and well maintained. The bathroom has a bath, and a most excellent shower. I had a pool access room which was very convenient any time I wanted to cool down. Staff are friendly, and I really have no complaints at all. Will definitely stay here again.

Authentic Thai hotel, very clean and only a couple of minutes walk from the square and night markets. Breakfast was basic which we paid for as had to be up early for trips etc, but if you have time you might want to consider eating out. Staff are very helpful

Great location. close to Thapae gate, Night Bazaar, good cafes and food. Really friendly staff and very clean. Pool is great to dip into in the middle of the hot days.

Excellent hotel. Location was perfect. Short walk to night market. Many restaurants near by also. Room was great with very comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Pool was great and staff were great too.

Super friendly staff and beautiful Resort. It‘s super calm. We also slept really good in the bed which was very comfy. Rooms were tiptop clean.

Great resort, location is great access to old town and tours from accommodation. Nice pools to cool off or relax around. Plenty of places to get normal priced Thai food or shopping.

A really nice hotel and great location to stay in Chiang Mai!! Lovely and helpful staff, place is clean, food is delicious. Really central and walkable to night markets and attractions. Highly recommend !
