Viani Eppendorf

I went in and the people was very nice to me, but I wanted to get Salami al tartufo Bianco and the person who was in charge of this area did not attend me even though I was waiting for a long time with my baby... I will get back and give one more chance to this place as it looks like has some interesting products... may be they can change my review Update: I went there again and bought two products salami al tartufo bianco and salsa diavola very good quality both of them, and this time the attention was perfect. The only counter of this place is the price may be a bit too high, but cannot deny that the quality is above expectations.

Yesterday was probably the last time I went to Viani. I used to go there quite often to buy not only meats and cheese for Italian dinners but also presents for my closest ones. My boyfriend even wanted to get me Viani jumper as I freaking love the store…. As always, yesterday after work at 6:50-7 pm, I went to get guanciale for carbonara for dinner. The lady at the counter told me that there is no guanciale, so I took panchetta, no problem. Additionally, I asked for salumi with truffle (around 6 euro pro 100 gram, quite pricy) and I asked to cut it. The lady told me that SHE ALREADY WASHED THE CUTTER and I can’t get it cut… One hour before closing and I can’t get what I want… Of course, I decided to get it in Edeka 100 meters away where at 7:30 I got it cut… I do understand the complexity of washing but I am utterly disappointed in service in Viani

Meine Frau und ich waren heute Abend in Eppendorf zu Fuß unterwegs und kamen am Viani vorbei. Ein gut sortierter Feinkostkaden mit vielen Köstlichkeiten, die wir leider nicht für zuhause mitnehmen können, da wir per Bahn in Hamburg unterwegs sind und unsere Koffer nichts mehr aufnehmen können. Also haben wir uns im Laden an einen schönen Tisch gesetzt und eine Antipasti-Platte mit 2 Gläsern italienischem Weißwein bestellt, was alles sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Vom Service waren wir begeistert: die Frau, die uns die Antipasti brachte, hat uns diese auch ausführlich vorgestellt (köstlicher Schinken und Fenchel-Salami, mehrere Sorten Käse, geriebener Hartkäse mit Olivenöl und noch viele köstliche Kleinigkeiten. Weil es so lecker war, gehen wir morgen Abend wieder hin. 😊 Wir werden es allen Bekannten, die nach Hamburg fahren, weiterempfehlen.

Schon beim Betreten duftet es herrlich nach frischem Brot, Olivenöl und Espresso. Die Auswahl ist einfach fantastisch: von erlesenen Weinen über handgemachte Pasta bis hin zu köstlichen Antipasti findet man hier alles, was das Herz begehrt. Besonders schätze ich die Beratung – immer freundlich, kompetent und mit ehrlicher Begeisterung für gute Produkte. Man merkt, dass hier echte Italien-Liebe dahintersteckt. Ein Espresso an der Bar, ein kleines Gespräch mit dem Team und ein paar Leckereien zum Mitnehmen – das ist für mich Lebensqualität pur. Kurz gesagt: Viani Eppendorf ist mein Lieblingsort, um sich ein Stück Dolce Vita nach Hause zu holen. 🇮🇹☕🍷
