Worst customer service. When I checked in, I asked if it was getting a room service coffee in the morning was an option, I was told I could make a coffee myself in the room. I explained that I wanted a proper coffee that I didn’t have to make myself. I was told I could order one from 6am. At 6.15am I tried using the QR code to order room service, but was unable to navigate website. So I tried calling room service but there was no answer. At 6.25 I tried reception instead and was told I they didn’t open until 6.30, and they were currently setting up so I should call back at 6.35. At 6.35 I tried calling room service several times before someone answered. I explained I wanted a coffee and they said I should use the QR code to order. I asked where on the webpage I order because I couldn’t find it, they were unable to explain but then said they would take my order for a coffee. Then 5 minutes later they called me back a said they wouldn’t do room service for just a coffee. They suggested I use the QR code to order something else or come downstairs and get a coffee. ||I then showered, got dressed and went to check out (so I could get a coffee elsewhere). When I got downstairs to checkout, there were 7 staff members (3 in the cafe and 4 at reception), none of whom were serving customers, in fact 3 of the staff a reception seemed to be having a chat. I find it hard to believe that it was not possible for a coffee to have been brought to my room. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced at a hotel. I note the rating system for customer service starts a 1 and not 0; if it started at 0 that would have been my rating.
