Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront

This hotel is like a once very attractive Sheila who has let herself go The location is great and all the staff friendly and helpful However, top management need to get a grip. A review 6 months ago described it as grubby and management response was they are aware of the issues. What has been done since : Nothing ! It's dirty unkempt and it's clear Management want to make as much money as possible and not spend a $ on maintenance 2 examples - when asked how the $36 bottle of wine from the in room menu became $50 to aging off, was told 'the menu is out of date and $4 for delivery. Come on guys ! The pool - lots of tiles missing from the mosaic pillars, filthy doors and mild round the bottom large glass windows. Our room blinds were filthy nowhere has seen paint or a deep clean in at least 10 years Top management may need another strategy when this place goes down the pan I'm doing this to advise others and hope someone will restore the infrastructure

Very Good. Comfy and clean, although it's starting I guess to show its age. The service is good as well as amenities. The down side part was when we had brekky, there were heaps of people and couldn't really get food as the containers were always empty :( coffee was brilliant made by Stephina :) I loved the noodles for brekky

One can feel the coldness immediately when entering the hotel from a hot day outside. The outdoor pools are great. The nighttime Musical Fountain shows are fantastic, except for the annoying small insects that seemed to be everywhere. It's a great place to go for a walk outside with plenty of great restaurants around. There are some keen fishermen and apparently there are plenty of fishes there.

Stayed for a work conference. All staff were very helpful and the room was clean and well maintained. Bath over the shower wasn't the best but everything else was great. Great location to get to the convention centre and lots of good options for restaurants around the area within walking distance.

Very convenient with great views of the harbor. The staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. Need a place to store our excess baggage and they were more than happy to oblige. Convenient parking also. Thank you staff for allyour help!!

We slept well at the hotel, and appreciated good wi-fi and nice cold aircon. ||||Everything was as expected, however, the room was not serviced during our stay and in addition, there was some delamination of the headboard which needs to be fixed.||

The hotel location is excellent and it's close to the beach front and all the good restaurants. Staff are friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.

Rooms, foyer and common areas very dated and grubby. Overwhelming smell of deodorizer in foyer. Carpets stretched and frayed. Our room was dark, dated and barely clean. The bathroom needs a good scrub. Woodwork on bedhead and bar fridge badly worn. Not what you expect for the price.
