Vibe Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour

Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Just a couple of suggestions.. The pool water needs a clean, the glass around the pool needs cleaning, the bed was uncomfortable you need firmer mattresses - it was soft/saggy. The cups/spoons should always be changed/washed after each guest even if they are back in the drawer. Otherwise, everything was presented well and tidy in the room and lobby, loved the staff and it was a good price. And location is close to public transport and close to landmarks and the Quay.

Spent a week at Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour, a great base within easy walking distance to Darling Harbour attractions, Kings Wharf Cruises, Pyrmont Bridge 5 -7 minutes, Circular Quay 15- 20-minute walk. Vibe Hotel staff were very friendly, approachable and engaging, always happy to help with enquiries etc no problem arranging an early check-in, looking after luggage once we checked out. Excellent daily room cleaning servicing, effective laundry service. Twin room was a little more compact than photographs depict, but overall Hotel is modern, clean and quiet with comfortable beds, (9th) floor some City views, at moderate rates. Breakfasts were good, we preferred dining out, but others enjoyed their evening meals at Sussex Store Restaurant. Rooftop Bar was also a good way to finish an evening. Couple of 24/7 Grocery type convenience stores are close by for important supplies, Juice, Ice Cream, & Chocolates etc. Numerous good Asian restaurants nearby and really enjoyed the range and quality of food at Food Courts Paddy's Haymarket (Sussex St) and Westfield Mall (Pitt & Market St) very reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vibe, it was everything advertised, with a really good team on board to make it all work nicely. No hesitation in recommending Vibe Hotel as a good little base when visiting Darling Harbour attractions.

the hotel is located in an amazing spot, surrounded by lots of small restaurants, convenience stores and only a 5 minute walk to the train station. the room itself was clean, however some parts were still left quite dusty and the mirrors weren’t cleaned upon arrival nor during room service. apart from that everything was good. the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant/ cafe attached has amazing service and the coffee was 10/10. overall, we will be back at this hotel :)

Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was pleasant and bed comfortable. Food was well presented and reasonably priced. The general cleanliness was good in all areas although the shower showed major black mould. Tea and coffee was not topped up daily. Short walk to public transport and the harbour bridge. Nice roof top pool and bar

Location was perfect. Had a balcony room which was great for a mornjng cuppa. Rooftop pool was lovely needs more of a drink selection.. room and bathroom was stunning. Would stay again

A solid option for a night or two in the city||We stayed here as a stop gap between other places and we liked it. Wouldn’t choose for a longer stay but a solid option. ||The reception staff deserve a particular call out. They were super amenable and polite and I felt gave us better service than some of the 5star hotels we’d been at in this trip. Big props to them. They also allowed a very late check out of 5pm which was perfect ahead of our long haul flight. ||Breakfast is solid, it’s a la Carte. Probably would opt out of breakfast and opt in as req as so many other great options nearby.||Location wise it’s great - you’re next to Chinatown, walking distance to major shopping areas, Surry hills, the cricket. We jumped In cab on the last day to do the coogee to bondi walk and took less than 30 mins. Also 20 mins cab from the airport. ||Room wise it was quite small - non impressive view of the middle of other tower blocks.||Positives are that it’s quite stylish, it’s well priced and they have full fridge and smart tv. ||Negative that I didn’t like the sheets - it’s a duvet sandwiches between two sheets which I personally find unhygienic when it becomes uncovered. ||Other reviewers had commented on the cleanliness of the bathroom. I see what they mean but I think it’s to do with the colour of the grout, not actually dirt. Very tricky to clean well, but was clean. ||Minor gripe was small number of towels||Pool was actually very small but still nice to have. It does get busy but ok if you just want to swim or sit on the side. ||Be aware rooftop bar will not open certain days of the week.

We stayed at the vibe hotel for 3 nights on our last few days in Sydney. The hotel is situated about a 7 min walk to darling harbour and there are lots of bars and restaurants around. The hotel rooms are quite small and compact. Unfortunately our bathroom was unclean and smelled. In the morning we asked to change rooms but there was not a suitable room available. The staff were nice and stated they would get the bathroom deep cleaned. However this did not happen. The grime in the toilet and shower was unacceptable. We also never got out toiletries or coffee topped up during the 3 days. The hotel bar closed at 9:30pm and the pool is actually a lot smaller and thinner than the photos suggest. Plenty more nice hotels in the area. If it was not for the actual room being clean and comfortable I would have rated this hotel poor.

Great location and helpful staff. The pool is beautiful but you have to be very lucky to get a cabana - the seating is limited. The room was comfortable but the sink dripped onto the cabinetry and the shower tiles were not very clean. Nice to have a cafe downstairs.
