Viceroy Bali

Absolutely gorgeous property. We stayed in one of the private villas (#32) and it was amazing. My wife said she could live there the rest of her life if it had an outdoor kitchen. The food and service were incredible. The only reason I gave the location a 3* is because we travelled to Bali to scuba dive. Had the property been on the ocean there is no doubt it would be one of the best properties in the world.

An absolutely sensational few days spent in the company of the Viceroy Bali, I could not recommend a venue more highly. In all my (many) years travelling the world I have never experienced such genuine service. The kindness of the crew stands head and shoulders above other similarly grand properties. They care about your experience and it shows, every step of the way. Rooms are superbly appointed (we loved the outdoor infinity pool and mini-waterfall, very calming), the food at Cascade is sensational and Pinstripes' cocktails phenomenal. Not a bad word to say, five stars all round.

I travelled to Viceroy Bali in December 2024 and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The room was amazing with great views, amenities and a fantastic private pool and outdoor seating area. The staff throughout the hotel were always friendly and welcoming and helped me with everything that I needed. The food at the restaurants was absolutely amazing and I enjoyed every meal that I had! I also booked a Spa appointment for a massage and facial and had such a relaxing experience. Would definitely book Viceroy Bali again!!!

My Stay at the Viceroy was absolutely incredible!! From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The team were unbelievable kind, friendly and always went beyond to make sure my experience was perfect. The hotel itself is pure luxury I truly didn’t want to leave. The food and drink was incredible. If you’re looking for a 5 star experience with the most wonderful staff this is the place to be!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s attentiveness and warm hospitality made me feel like a valued guest. The food was nothing short of exceptional—every meal was a delight, on par with some of the finest dining experiences I’ve had worldwide. One of the standout moments was watching the breathtaking sunset from the hotel. Having stayed in top hotels across the globe, I can confidently say this one ranks among the very best. A flawless five-star experience—I can’t wait to return!

We went for our 20th wedding anniversary and could not have been happier with our choice! This place is stunning both inside and out. We were amazed by how beautiful the surroundings were with every detail well thought out. The room was stunning and well laid out. When we arrived they had cooled down the room and heated the pool which was the absolute perfect temperature the entire time. Having a wam pool was a big part of how much we enjoyed our stay as we spent quite a bit of time in it. The room and outside patio area was very private and we felt as though we were the only ones there at times. ||The food was also amazing whether we ate at the poolside restaurant, the high end restaurant Aperitif, or eating in the Pinstripes Bar. We really enjoyed the bar and the staff there. They were so attentive and everyone made us feel right at home. We enjoyed great conversations there and got some good recommendations on things to see in the area. The drinks were really next level as these bartenders know their craft. It was fun to watch them mix the drinks and they explained the science behind what flavors they were combining and how some of the spices and other ingredients were locally sourced. ||The entire staff was also another highlight. Everyone we encountered could not have been more friendly and attentive. The general manager even took the time to sit with us to see how our stay was going and asking other questions that showed he was very committed to the property. We also like that this is a family owned property. They were staying there while we were there and it was clear they too all had a passion for excellence. ||We researched properties for months before deciding on Viceroy. We did spend a bit more in the end than we may have for other 5 star properties, but after reading some of the reviews at the other places, we kept circling back to Viceroy. We are so glad we did and in the end, the extra money still made the stay seem like a bargain. We have paid about the same for a tiny room in a substandard hotel in New York City and here we were treated like kings in one of the most beautiful spots we have ever stayed in. ||Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special. Lots of places say they are five stars, but this one truly is. The grounds are stunning, the service is impeccable, the restaurants are delicious and the whole staff is incredibly kind and caring. Even the GM, Patrick, went out of his way to ensure my stay was special. I can’t think of one negative. If you want a luxurious experience, you should definitely stay here!

One of the best stays we had in Bali. The ambiance, facilities and hospitality are all extremely high quality. The moment we entered Viceroy we were greeted with warmth and friendliness, they took us for a hotel area tour with a buggy and we were surprised to find our room with a private pool with a view of the green valley. Food in the Cascades is great and the staff extremely friendly. They made a beautiful flower decoration for our romantic dining. Definitely visit the Pinstripe bar, a 1920s themed cocktail bar with billiards and chatty bar tenders. Recommended! We also tried the Balinese massage at the Akoya Spa inside of the property which is a perfect way to end our short stay in this beautiful premise. Hope to come back soon! 😊
