13 Best Restaurants in Savannah

"Sitting above the Savannah River, Vic's is an elegant, longstanding Savannah staple. With large windows and live piano playing nightly, the restaurant is always a lovely evening. The menu honors traditional Southern food, offering dishes like fried green tomatoes and crispy flounder. And the elegant, ready-to-serve staffers have Southern-style hospitality down pat. They're ready to suggest wine pairings or recommend desserts, all while timing your meal just right." - Barbara Skidmore

Excellent dining experience! We started with the French onion soup - delicious! The braised short rib with mashed potatoes and green beans was outstanding. The serving was so generous that I ended up taking a large portion home. Of course we had to try a dessert so we ordered the chocolate mousse cake. It was good but not stellar. The service and atmosphere was fantastic with live music playing in the front room. Out table was further back and more quiet. I will definitely return when I'm back in town.

We decided on Vic's as a last minute reservation for our anniversary. We made our reservation on Thursday night for a 5 pm Friday dinner and our options at that point were 5 pm, or after 8:45. We had no issues getting our reservation in and while seating was a little tricky (they don't start seating until 5, we showed up at 4:55, and we were finally seated at 5:10), it was fast and efficient at the end. The food was incredible. The serving staff was amazing. The vibe of the place was exactly what we wanted. We'd added "Anniversary" to our reservation and every single person we interacted with wished us happy anniversary and I have never had any restaurant pay attention to that note and it was just a little something extra. The fried green tomatoes are to die for. The drinks were incredible. The biscuits were fluffy and the honey butter was perfect. I got the salmon and my husband got the short ribs and I don't know how much we actually talked once the food came out because we were too busy eating. 10/10 experience, food, ambiance, staff, everything. I definitely look forward to coming back the next time we're in Savannah.

Google
Review of Vic’s on the River Vic’s on the River delivered exactly what a great Savannah restaurant should: warmth, consistency, and food that understands its purpose. From the moment we arrived, the difference was obvious. Service was welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. No attitude, no posturing. Just professionals who know how to read a table and take care of guests. Pacing was right, questions were answered without eye rolls, and the entire experience felt relaxed in the best way. The food showed intention and generosity. Dishes were well-seasoned, properly executed, and satisfying without pretending to be something they weren’t. Everything tasted like it had been cooked with confidence, not fear. Portions made sense, flavors were balanced, and nothing relied on gimmicks or theatrics to justify itself. The atmosphere struck the right balance between polished and comfortable. You’re aware you’re somewhere special, but you never feel like you’re being tested or judged for being there. It’s a place that understands hospitality is about making people feel welcome, not impressed into silence. In a city full of historic buildings and hyped destinations, Vic’s stands out by doing the most important thing consistently well: serving good food with genuine hospitality. This is a place I would happily return to and confidently recommend to anyone visiting Savannah.

Google
Vic’s on the River was outstanding! I started with the Riesling Pear Salad, which was light, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My lunch entrée was the seared scallops—perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the Caesar salad and the Blackened Seafood Alfredo, and everything was fresh and tasty. Our waiter, Rick, was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. He even brought me the bottle of delicious Riesling so I could photograph it for a future purchase. We loved everything about this place and can’t wait to return@

Google
We'd been wandering along the Riverside and happened upon this place around lunchtime. The place met our needs since there were five of us plus two small dogs and the outside section suited, even if we did have a short wait. Not surprisingly there was a larger proportion of fish dishes and some very interesting starters. I absolutely loved the meat loaf though the special, grouper and grits was perhaps less well rated by the two who had it. No problems with the drinks, I can certainly recommend the Scofflaw Atlanta IPA, and the Wild Leap and Wicked Weed were also well received. The main indoor section of the restaurant was very smart and it was easy to see why this place is popular. We loved Chereece, our server. She was a real character and our dogs were made welcome.

Google
I had an all day walking adventure on my first visit to Savannah for my solo birthday trip. I stopped in for a cocktail, and I was immediately greeted by a beautiful smiling face, Senay, she was so sweet and chatty and she immediately made me feel welcome. The place was absolutely beautiful and my kind of vibe so I kicked myself for not having eaten here sooner. Elaina was behind the bar, she was also very friendly. She made me the prettiest drink I think I've ever had the pleasure of having and it was delicious. I immediately decided to go back the next day for my pre flight meal. It was the most wonderful experience, the little nook I chose to sit at was so cute. Abby was my waitress and she was so patient with me and my silly ways. She recommended the Grilled Salmon Oscar, and it did not disappoint. It was like putting a little piece of heaven in my mouth. I'm not sure when I will be in Savannah again but I definitely will and Vic’s on the River will be my first stop!!

Google
We were lucky to walk in and get a cozy table in the bar area without reservations. Our server was friendly and attentive. The biscuits and honey butter were delicious. I ordered the salmon dish. The outside had a perfect crisp while keeping the inside moist and perfectly cooked. Hubby loved the smash burger.

Google
Filet was good but lacked in seasoning. A little salt & pepper & good to go. Shrimp and grits were good but not Acme Low Country Kitchen good (Isle of Palms, SC) 😂 IYKYK. Service was good and the cocktails we got were great. Must try the lemon blueberry martini! Overall a good dinner and miserably full! Oh … and didn’t get a pic but the crab cake appetizer was to die for!

Yelp
Wesley M, guided us in the right direction at every turn. We had a Perfect window table with our 11am reservation Food 5/5 my filet and scallops were divine and wife shared as portions were generous. Wife had salad see pics was excellent we shared. Total cost per person with drinks and 25% tip was 45 per person very reasonable. IPA beer was really great. Biscuits with sweet butter wow, another 5/5 4 star and below items, literally nothing. And I tried to think of something. A must visit.

Yelp
Some of the best French Onion Soup I've ever had. The scallops + risotto was okay. I liked the seared scallops. I would've preferred them served a different way because I found the risotto to be overwhelmingly rich. Service was friendly and relatively quick, given a busy night and our group size (6).

Yelp
Went for jazz brunch. Super fun! Good vibes and a cool venue. Bloody Mary shrimp and grits - is that a thing or just here? I've never had shrimp and grits before but it was good. Ordered it with blackened shrimp hoping it would add more flavor and it did. They forgot to blacken the shrimp though and then took it back and I had to wait quite a while. The chow chow on top was way too salty, didn't love it. I liked the plain grits more where they didn't touch anything. Fried chicken - not very crispy. Chicken was moist but not crispy like it should have been. Mac and cheese was whatever, not very ooey, gooey and cheesy how we like it but more southern style which I will accept. Collard greens were super salty. Peanut butter French toast - on sour dough bread which completely ruins it. So hard and dry. The batter didn't seep into the bread at all so it was hard dry bread. Peanut butter topping was good but we couldn't get past the bread. Some sort of jalapeño juice drink - pretty good Service - excellent. Slow but awesome waitress

Yelp
Sooooooo good! We had shrimp tacos and they were amazing. The service was good. I loved the look of the place. My Blueberry lemon drop martini was the star of the show though. It was so good!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here when we first visited Savannah and we loved it ! I go the meatloaf and my husband had the filet minion and both were tasty! We also got the cheesecake and it was 10/10! Service was also amazing!

Yelp
This is my first time stopping at Dick's coffee. They have a drink specials for the month and they have cocktails along with coffee, tea, and ice cream and milkshakes. To me this reminds me of a little hip coffee joint in Florida. It's very warm on the inside if they have some seating and then they have restrooms as well. I got a hot Americano with oat milk and apple simple syrup for four dollars. They do have a restroom on the inside however, you do need a code for the bathroom. Servant from the lady at the counter was quick and efficient and she was very nice and there is another girl that is making it the coffee that yells out your name . 10/10 This location is located right off of River Street right on the river. They have public parking garages around the area as well as parking on River Street. It just becomes very congested in the morning.

Yelp
Vic's has the charm--beautiful multi-level dining, great ambiance, and you feel like you've stepped into Savannah's charm But the meatloaf? HARDV PASS. Two bites in and it had all the flavor and texture of cardboard, the meat grinder machine must be dirty. I let the waitress know, and instead of an apology or an easy swap, the "solution" offered was upgraded scallops... for an additional charge. Not exactly the customer service one expects from a place with this reputation and this view. If you go, enjoy the atmosphere--but maybe steer clear of the meatloaf and stick to the safer plays on the menu.

Yelp
Everything that we ordered was great and always is. We are repeat customers to Vic's and WILL continue to be. The service was great. Superb staff and a comfortable, welcoming environment.
google avatar

Eric K.

Yelp
Seating starts at 5, gets busy by 6. Attire is business casual but it is right on the river so don't worry too much. Friendly, knowledgeable servers. You get a lot of shrimp but not a lot of hush puppies, filet mignon was 8oz for the price of a 6oz! Good martinis, too.

Yelp
For New Year's Eve, we chose to travel to Savannah and stay in a beautiful hotel, and we also made a reservation at Vic's on the River restaurant. It was absolutely excellent! We loved the atmosphere, the waitress, and the food was incredibly delicious!!!
google avatar

Yelp
3.5- Lovely southern restaurant on the river for our first dinner in Savannah! The service is really great in the city with that southern hospitality. The food was decent overall, but very affordable. Only $52 for a steak! My mom and I split the wedge salad, the fillet and the combo of four sides- Mac & cheese, cheese, grits, collard greens, and Brussel sprouts. The grits were definitely my favorite. The food is nothing crazy, but the atmosphere feels like an old southern house and they give you amazing warm biscuits to start off your meal. The concierge at the hotel said this was the only place on the river that they would recommend so I will recommend it to you!

Yelp
Looking for a special place to have our dinner on our last day in Savannah. Vic's had some openings so we snagged an early reservation. Got there and went upstairs. They just opened so we had to wait before we got to our table. Drinks were excellent. We both ordered steaks and they were cooked perfectly and sides were great. Really enjoyed our visit and was a good sendoff for our trip home.

Yelp
Vic's on the River was one of my favorite meals in Savannah. The location offers beautiful views of the river and the restaurant itself is a beautifully restored historic building. For starters we had refreshing craft cocktails and for my main course I had the shrimp and grits which was amazing. It was literally melt in your mouth, scrape the bowl flavorful from the perfectly cooked shrimp and grits to the delicious sauce that was spot on. To top it off the service was great completing a pretty perfect dining experience.

Yelp
This place was the package! The ambiance, service, food, views! Everything we order was phenomenal, our server, Stephanie was a sweetheart. Octopus, she crab soup, crab cakes, scallops, Grouper special! Yum!!!

Yelp
July 8, 2025 - Two for dinner, we were staying out by 75 and visiting the Botanical Gardens travelling South to our FL home. Not a ding on the review, but FYI. Parking sucks, and you can't even put in enough time to stroll the riverfront and see the sights and spend a few hundred on things and a meal? Looks like a ticketing trap by the City? Disappointing. So was the riverfront too industrial. I had to ****run*** back to the car as I had slipped over the time limit by a few minutes and expected a $150 ticket or maybe a $300 tow job. (sadly this has happened other places - Sarasota City and Port Jefferson/Long Island as just two examples) NOT tourist or consumer friendly! Loved the restaurant. Tax, tags, and tip we had a great meal with drinks for about $55 per person. Wife drank 2 Blueberry Lemon Drops - she claimed awesome! $12 per. I got a Ginger beer something mocktail for $10. Tasty 8/10 She got a whole whipped goat cheese and strawberry salad that was VERY fresh and had high variety of vegetables and greens. $24. Nicely done. 8/10 I went with the Whole artisanal Mixed Greens $13 and threw a jumbo lump crab cake on there + $18 - so a $31 match up. The salad was awesome and really good and fresh. 10/10 the jumbo crabcake was just okay, not bad or mayo laden or breaded out, but a little stewy and wet and obviously a bit of filler and at $18 too expensive for a future consideration. 5/10 Service was AWSOME and attentive and pleasant by PM B on the receipt. VERY fantastic - never wanting and never needing anything. HATE HATE HATE the at table credit card Walmart self checkout system, just saying.

Yelp
This was a fabulous restaurant with great service; we dropped in without a reservation but they had one table out the patio - little too much street noise but our waitress Kalena (sp?) was fabulous; four meals and each were delicious; peach trio for dessert is yummy too (peach bread pudding, peach ice cream, cheesecake with peach topping) See pics: striped bass with risotto, pecan crusted flounder, short rib and shrimp and grits; we all agreed that we would've swapped any of the meals (yes we had a bite of each) and would've loved each just as much

Yelp
Delicious!! The only word I can use to describe the food here. Even their complimentary biscuits were to die for!! This was our first meal in Savannah and we were soooo impressed!! It was hands the best meal we had during our trip. Service was great. The restaurant has so much charm and history'. We really enjoyed every dish. Dreaming of returning again!

Yelp
Stopped in mid day for some much needed air conditioning break from walking around Savannah in summertime. We were so pleasantly surprised by the biscuits! They brought them with butter as the bread basket. They were soooo good! Fluffy, soft, savory delicious! We tried the BLT with fried green tomatoes and the she crab soup. The soup was so tasty! My first time trying this southern specialty. It is like a crab bisque but with a pimento cheesy flavor. The BLT was also fantastic, but the fried green tomatoes were a bit much so we too them out of the sandwich and ate them separately...and they were perfectly crispy. So good. The portions were generous. A great rest stop for us to get out of the heat and enjoy lovely service. The server was so eager to tell us about the many great things about Savannah. Lovely experience.

Yelp
This was a solo dinner while on a business trip in Sept. With so many downtown choices, I wanted to try it after not picking it on a prior trip. Glad I did. It's a nicely renovated place in River Street's historic buildings & would make for a nice date night as a number of couples clearly were doing. I was seated near the piano, with the player providing a nice succession of musical numbers (with some occasional singing), furthering the experience. Service was prompt & appropriately paced for an upscale restaurant. They start with delicious biscuits & butter, gratis. I ended up ordering the Maine Diver Scallops on pearl couscous with golden raisins, caperberries & a saffron beurre blanc sauce. Also, very good & I stuffed in every bite. Very enjoyable.

Michael H.

Yelp
Everything here was delicious. I loved the views of the river and then I ordered the crawfish beignets and loved them. The beef short rib with the cheerwine reduction was incredible. I couldn't get enough. Definitely come here for a fancy little dinner
google avatar

Terri R.

Yelp
Vic's on the River - Savannah GA Family trip for a night and we dined here for dinner. It came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Waitress even gave us a spooky story how the building is haunted. For starters we all tried something different; wedge, Cesar, arugula and pear salad and a French onion soup! For dinner I had the filet mignon because it was the closest thing to gluten free. We also had the pork chop, braised short ribs and seared tuna! We all enjoyed our time together and would recommend to others as well.
google avatar

Tracy M.

Yelp
This meal was great and close to the riverwalk. The meals were also huge. We had lunch here and definitely didn't have room for dinner. We had the fried green tomatoes appetizer which was really good. I had the fish and veggies, which was very tasty.
google avatar

Yelp
Old school Southern establishment that has more than one iteration. There is a coffee shop on the first floor, a couple floors for banquets etc in between, and then on the fourth floor, the street level, there is the restaurant. I had drinks at the bar. The bartenders are super on top of it, never letting a water or cocktail glass run dry. Lots of the southern hospitality. Bar is actually pretty comfortable and the seats aren't too high for short legs like mine. I had the berry basil smash (herradura tequila, agave, strawberries, and basil). Delicious and attractive to boot. Beautiful red drink with a fresh strawberry on top. I also had the summer gin, made with gin, mint simple syrup, lemon juice, and rosemary. Light and refreshing. It was also happy hour, between 4-5 PM! Each drink 50% off so I had both of these great drinks for 7.50 each! What a steal! I unfortunately came too early to try dinner, though I think I'll be back to give it a try. I really had my eye on the fried green tomatoes (goat cheese, tomato chutney, cheddar grits, and balsamic glaze). I'm not a meatloaf fan, but their meatloaf also looks good (onion strap, haricot vert, mashed potatoes, bbq sauce). Failing that, the filet mignon is also a possibility. They have a large southern menu of salads, sandwiches, southern comfort food, and more. I'll be back to try more of what Vic's has to offer.
google avatar

Opal S.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Had the she crab soup was great and the pork chop was too! Larry our server was terrific. The atmosphere was nice and calming with a piano player. We waited quite a while for our food though. Our waiter had to go and get it.
google avatar

Suzanne R.

Yelp
Fantastic food, server seemed a little tired of tourist. But the food was really good! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Dianne M.

Yelp
We had a special dinner last night. The restaurant is sophisticated without being off-putting. White tablecloths, well trained, professional servers, and wonderful food! The hard wood floors and high open ceilings did make it a bit loud as they were busy, but it added to the open, airy atmosphere. I had the Jumbo Lump Crabcake which was amazing - LOTS of crab meat! My husband had the Po'Boy Flounder Sandwich and really enjoyed it. We split the Poached Pear Salad and it was exceptional. Our server did a great job doing the splitting of the salad and she took a picture for us.
google avatar

Zoe S.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate anniversary dinner. Service and food were great. The only disappointment was that a small bottle of Aqua panna water was $6, which seems super steep. Food was good though.
google avatar

Julie P.

Yelp
Unfortunately, our experience here was disappointing. Firstly, we were sat at a small table that was not meant for 4 adults + baby. It was crowded and uncomfortable for everyone. We ordered drinks and 2 apps and barely had space on the table. Secondly, the apps were no good and missing any flavor whatsoever. Lastly, our experience was cut short when our server completely ignored us after we told her the apps were no good. We felt like red headed step children and that our business wasn't wanted or needed. It was the most awkward dining experience I've encountered.
google avatar

Ina B.

Yelp
During a Conference in Savannah, had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for dinner. Wonderful ambiance, food, drinks and decor. The food was truly delicious, honestly best meatloaf I have eaten in a long time!
google avatar

Jeff F.

Yelp
Had dinner for 2 at Vic's. Got there about 10 minutes before our reservation time and there were plenty of open tables but they had us wait. Tried the amazing fried green tomato appetizer as well as the seared tuna (average). Had the peach martini - it was tasty but it was warm when it arrived so I dropped some of my ice in. Had the sea bass special (delicious) and the salmon (average). The wines were hiked up a little more in price than I was used to. Service was great and missing at times.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
I unfortunately didn't take any photos but had the fried chicken and can say it was very good. The collard greens were the highlight, but the Mac and cheese was a close second. I also really liked the hint of honey in the butter for the biscuits. Well rounded southern meal.
google avatar

Mary e.

Yelp
Beautiful restaraunt across from the Savannah river. Ambience is all elegance with white tablecloths and chandeliers. Pet friendly and servers so kind and welcoming. The southern fried chicken was so juicy and crunchy! Yummy. The oyster po boy was very generously filled with fried oysters, pickles, crunchy lettuce and juicy tomatoes with a delicious sauce. Everything was to die for. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yolanda R.

Yelp
The food was delicious with a good presentation. Service was great, friendly and efficient. The ambiance was pleasant. I appreciated a window seat in one of the quieter rooms, overlooking the Savannah River. A wonderful brunch birthday celebration.
google avatar

Sharon G.

Yelp
Food was excellent, service was amazing. Brenna took very good care of us. Ambiance was really nice for a rainy day. The captain of our Ferry boat recommended Vic's on the Water. It did not disappoint!!!
google avatar

Candace S.

Yelp
Excellent service. The food was so good- all 5 dishes. Best crab cake I ever had, the blue crab fried appetizer with their special hot sauce was to die for, octopus was cooked perfectly, meatloaf was great, Brussels sprouts great and the coffee was bold and flavorful. We drive from Florida for the day and so glad this is the place we chose. We will be can for sure. I can only imagine the dessert menu...
google avatar

Jeanita O.

Yelp
I enjoyed the jumbo fried shrimp and fries. However, I did not enjoy the catfish, hush puppies, and green beans during my last two visits. Service was average. The ambience is cozy, intimate, and southern. I love overlooking the water while dining. The restaurant is usually crowded, so do not hesitate to book a reservation, if needed. I've dined here several times, and I will definitely return again soon.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
So dang good. Service was great. Ambiance was nice, not dark or too intimate but very inviting especially with the live pianist. We opted to sit at the bar top. Complimentary buttermilk biscuits & honey butter definitely set the tone for the rest of the evening. Blue crab beignets were great especially with the tartar like sauce it's served with. Also the grilled lemon was a great addition as well. I got the off menu special- parm & mushroom risotto & added on scallops. Some of the best risotto I've had in awhile & HUGE portion. Only knocked off a star because my scallops were very over cooked- I LOVE a hard sear on my scallops which they presented perfectly, it was just a little chewy due to cook time- otherwise 5/5 for this place!!! Bartender was nice, entire party cleared their food. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Earl H.

Yelp
Holy Toledo!!! I can now say that I've had the Best Ever Fried Green Tomatoes... served so politely and nicely by Aubrey. The cornmeal crusted GT's were served on a bed of polenta, with a layer of goat cheese and drizzled with balsamic reduction drizzle. The Great Gal also enjoyed a wonderfully creamy creamed crab soup... as did I .... As well as great biscuits with soft honey butter... Totally great food... Totally great service.... Totally great experience.
google avatar

Leicia W.

Yelp
Came here every night I was in Savannah for dinner. The second those award winning biscuits went in my mouth, I knew I was not going to find anything better. And that SWEET TEA, goodness. I'm a visitor from California and I found just what I came for - DELICIOUS southern food. Thank you to Javetta - my waitress tonight - who was so gracious and generous with me. The vibe is cool, classy and romantic. Perfect for a date with a loved one or a solo dinner like mine. Truly this place made my trip. Thank you.

Yelp
The food, the ambience and the service were imppecable! I would highly recommend Vic's On The River!!
google avatar

Trish C.

Yelp
We arrived for our reservation and were seated at a table with an obstructed view of the river. My husband called in advance to request a table with a view. When we were seated, the two tables with a view were empty with "reserved" signs. We asked if we could move and were advised the tables were for reservations despite our having had a reservation and arriving before the other customers. The table to our left remained empty until we were about to leave!!!! Poor management handling of our request especially when our reservation was before the other customers arrived. The biscuits with honey butter and the French onion soup to start were amazing. For our entree, hubby ordered the fish special which was sheep'shead with risotto. The fish was a little dry but the flavor was good. I ordered the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and a chili sauce. The chicken was perfect and is a definite reason to visit Vic's. The sweet tea complimented my meal. For dessert, we ordered the pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. Yummy!!
google avatar

Chloe T.

Yelp
Vic's On the River has been on our list for a while now and we were finally able to grab a reservation. We arrived 15 minutes early and were lucky enough to be seated right away. For an appetizer, we had the crab cake. It was delicious and most likely the best we've ever had. For an entree, I had the mahi which was divine. My partner had the shrimp and grits, which was also delicious. The interior is decorated and styled beautifully. From the outside, it doesn't look as upscale but the inside is gives off semi-fancy vibes. The service was great. Our dishes arrived promptly and our waiter checked on us multiple times. The price was just over $80 for those 3 dishes, so a bit pricey but worth it in our opinion. I would return and recommend that you try it out!
google avatar

Thomas R.

Yelp
Tourist trap restaurant Very overpriced. Chowder too cheesy service is good though but so many other better places within the city

Lindsay B.

Yelp
If you go here, you HAVE to get the caramel cheesecake! It was absolutely to die for. Vic's is a beautiful restaurant right on the river with views from every seat. There are multiple floors and the elevator was a little rickety so beware about that. We were there for a pre-wedding friends and family dinner with a set menu. Our waiter was fantastic! She was so personable and down to earth I wish I would have gotten her name. The she crab soup came out first but I couldn't detect any crab meat or crab flavor at all. The Caesar salad was good. My stuffed chicken had a bone in it and unfortunately, the chicken was extremely dry. A couple of people at our table ordered the steak and it came out very rare, just barely kissed on the grill. The caramel cheesecake absolutely stole the show. It was incredibly rich and flavorful and creamy. I could go on. My only regret is not finishing my slice! I would like to go back and order from the full menu at some point.

Yelp
Food was superb. I had the rib eye which was excellent and cooked to perfection. Wife had Shellfish melange (lobster, scallops, and shimp over pasta) she enjoyed all of it and said it was one of the best seafood entree she had in a long time. Also the portion size was just right. The special drink was a martini called White Christmas. I'm not a martini fan but it was excellent. I had 3 of those bad bad boys. Our server Beverly who was spot on with our service. Kudos to the Chef, Manager and most importantly our server Beverly who made our entire meal delightful. Great job everyone. Thank you so much.

Yelp
White tablecloths, friendly service in an old house setting. Food was good, we had a view of Bay Street and all the beautiful trees. Rest rooms were spotless. All together a good experience.

Yelp
Our server was nice and professional. The restaurant itself was loud.... It was quite busy so almost all tables were filled. The hard floors and high ceilings make for a noisy environment considering there are not a lot of walls to absorb or cut off the carry of voices. The venue is "on the waterfront" but you don't have a clear view of the river since it doesn't sit right on the water. We had a window table and there was not much of a view. So... Don't go expecting an intimate dinner with a view. Unless there are other tables that we didn't see. The menu is pretty typical with a good variety of proteins... Appetizers and Entrees with Southern flare. The food was just ok ... My French onion soup was salty and not very hot....seemed like it had been sitting for a while since the cheese was hard. My fish was dry... Probably because it was overdone. My mom's scallops were tough. The husband's steak was cooked properly and had good taste and texture. For the price, I was expecting better.

Yelp
We made reservations ahead online and when we arrived, the staff greeted us so warmly that, at one point, we wanted to just hang out in the bar area with them. The staff was amazing!!! We were exhausted after a long day touring Savannah's hot spots and were ready to chill for dinner. Our seating was nice as it overlooked the River. It was late in the evening but our view of the River Boat still played into the ambiance for us. This was the 1st dinner in which we both didn't order a cocktail... Strange right!!! We had the Crawfish Beignets & She Crab Soup to start. Both were good and then moved on to the Entrees. They delivered on the Short Ribs and the Fried Chicken. Food was solid and we were full, trying to figure out how to get back to the hotel without walking!!! Great evening.
