This place smells like heaven and I bought a number of things to try - all good. My personal fav is the quince tart - absolute pastry perfection, tasted amazing! The owners have gorgeous hearts - the husband is quiet hardworking baker (use to work at Rockpool) and the wife is a joyful warm soul. There is also a place to tie up your dog inside which I appreciated.

I've been coming to Victoire Boulangerie for years, and it’s hands down the best French bakery in Rozelle. Their pastries are simply outstanding—flaky, buttery, and full of authentic flavor. The pain au chocolat is perfection, and their baguettes are consistently some of the best you’ll find anywhere. The staff are always friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back. Don’t be fooled by the new fad bakeries that pop up—Victoire has been delivering top-quality, traditional French baking for years, and nothing compares. Be sure to get in early, though—it’s so good that they often sell out!

Absolutely the best .. by far the best French patisseries in Sydney. And the owner Grace is a total sweetheart, she’s nice, friendly and extremely helpful. One of my favorite places in Sydney

Sydney, Rozelle Bread is really good, I like the rustic. Have to try their custard flan, lemon and fruit tarts, danish, brioche with creme diplomat etc. Strawberry mascarpone cake is great, pure exhilaration in taste and texture (Instagram is just eye candy without much thought to sensory perfection) So are the rhubarb and strawberry pies, just right and not too sweet like some other copies that I’ve tasted. Croissant is very good, could have continued with the buttery recipe of ten years ago. Overall, not to be missed +

This cute little French bakery offers a range of freshly baked breads, pastries, sweet & savoury tarts and cakes. People are in & out buying all the goodies and the popular items go fast. The baguette is crusty on the outside & soft inside & I couldnt help but to nibble on it straight after buying it - how French! The almond croissant had a lovely almond paste filling enclosed within a nice croissant. The fruit tarts look delectable & perfect for me as I don't like them too sweet. Flakey puff pastry base with a thin layer of custard and topped with seasonal fruits. I loved the tartness of the plum & apricot ones I chose. The quiches are also delicious - classic lorraine is cheesy & creamy tasting whilst the vegetarian option was sweeter with caramelised onions & roasted pumpkin as well as a pesto base topped with pinenuts. Would love to try the coconut & strawberry daiquoise & lemkn meringue next time. Very friendly service, not cheap & bakery has no seating but they also sell a small range of French cheeses & butter.

A lovely little van with a variety of breads and pastries. The customer service I received from Ella was simply delightful, she is the most friendly and courteous girl!! The pastries I bought were nothing short of amazing. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Victoire.

This is a small local bakery. Tried the croissant there and it tasted very good but was not very flaky. Will return to try the breads :)

Yelp
Victoire was the first of the seriously good bakeries in Sydney. Before Zumbo, before Bourke Street, before Black Star Pastry, Victoire was getting it just right. They import their sourdough flour from France, and you can tell. Their sourdough Levains are probably my favourite bread loaves in the whole wide world (though these days they're rather expensive). This is a little piece of Paris, in the middle of Rozelle. That sounds cheesy, but it's true, they're the real deal. I have known Victoire Bakery since I was a little tot - and they were still down in East Balmain - so I admit this review is skewed by nostalgia. After East Balmain they moved into the main drag in Balmain, now they're in Rozelle, and who knows, they may keep moving west! Victoire's taught me what a croissant ought to taste like (and how to pronounce it too). Unfortunately this means that all other croissants dissatisfy me.
