Victoria Chau Doc Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Victoria Châu Đốc Hotel. Everything came together beautifully: great location, excellent staff, delicious food, and a wonderful overall vibe. From the moment we arrived, we simply felt good being there. Our room was comfortably sized, clean, and well maintained, with a lovely view of the water and a balcony overlooking the river, which made our stay especially relaxing. The restaurant is spacious, elegant, and well designed, and the staff there were truly outstanding. The food selection was varied and consistently very good, making each meal enjoyable. A special highlight was the opportunity to chat with the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Tuan—a true gentleman with an impressive sense of service and professionalism. His demeanor reflects the high standards of the hotel and the care given to guests. We wholeheartedly recommend Victoria Châu Đốc Hotel and would happily stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in the perfect location for exploring Chau Doc area or stepping on to Cambodia. (Boats leave from just next to the hotel).|In the centre of this very 'authentic' riverside Vietnamese town, this hotel is exactly what we wanted. We spent 3 days exploring this relatively 'un-touristy' part of the Mekong Delta, using the hotel as a very clean and comfortable base. Would recommend the slightly more expensive Riverside rooms, as the view of the busy river is great entertainment. Restaurant,bar, pool and veranda area are all lovely. Fabulous breakfast included in the rate. And the staff could not have been more helpful.

Victoria Châu Đốc Riverside is truly one of the most charming riverside escapes in the Mekong Delta. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with peaceful views, lush greenery, and the soothing rhythm of river life—an ideal setting for anyone seeking relaxation after days of traveling.|The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed to highlight the natural surroundings. Waking up to sunrise over the river is a beautiful experience in itself. The outdoor pool overlooking the water feels like a private oasis, and the on-site restaurant serves flavorful local dishes with fresh regional ingredients.

This is a lovely French era styled hotel on the banks of the Bassac River. Many of the rooms overlook the river and it's floating markets. The restaurant bar also overlooks the river and provide a beautiful view of the sunrise over the Bassac River. The restaurant serves a wide range of both European and Vietnamese cuisine. There's also a small swimming pool if required and a number of sun loungers. Unfortunately due to the nature of our itinerary we only had the one night in the hotel but the bedroom was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. All the hotel staff that we dealt with during out short stay were extremely friendly and helpful. The only real criticism that we had was that with the boats to Cambodia leaving at 07:00, and breakfast not being available until 06:00 the queue to get food was somewhat lengthy leaving little time for what we had hoped would be a leisurely breakfast.

Myself and my son stayed at the Victoria Chau Doc Hotel for one night as a stop over for the speedboat to Phnom Penh. The hotel did not disappoint in anyway from the friendly and helpfulness of the staff, including at the pier side. Our room was very comfortable with fruit provided and glorious views over the river. The restaurant was well laid out and in the better weather there was seating outside. Both the breakfast options were plentiful. We ate there for dinner and had a good choice of menu. We made good use of the pool table but another time the swimming pool would have used if we had longer to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Victoria Hotel in Chau Doc - we had a lovely room that looked out over the river and it was very clean and comfortable. |All the staff were lovely in the hotel - namely Tien! Tien was very friendly, she was very attentive through dinner and had a great sense of humour and had a nice laugh with us. Tien was there the next morning and again was polite and attentive over breakfast - she really made our meals that bit more enjoyable. |We would stay here again!

Victoria Chau Doc Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a charming French colonial design. The rooms are spacious and classic, giving a cozy and elegant vibe. Breakfast is served buffet-style and includes a variety of local dishes from Chau Doc, which is a great way to start the day. Guests can also borrow bicycles for free, making exploring the town and nearby attractions easy. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Chau Doc, close to the market and Sam Mountain. It is right by the river junction, offering a lovely riverside view. The only downside is that, being right by the river, there are quite a few mosquitoes, so it’s a good idea to bring repellent or take precautions. The room rates are on the higher side for this area, but the service quality and professionalism of the staff make it worth the price.

Victoria Chau Doc is such a lovely place to enjoy your trip to Mekong Delta. The air, the vibe is amazingly relaxing with the view embracing Mekong river. Service is very good. The team always treat you with warm smile. Recommended
