We’ve been coming here several times over the years. Great concert hall with colonial-era architecture. It’s an old historical building but very well-maintained. Friendly and helpful staff.

Victoria Concert Hall is a historic and architectural landmark in Singapore, renowned for its elegant design and rich musical heritage. Here are some of the best photo spots and features to capture: Best Photo Spots at Victoria Concert Hall: Facade: The grand neoclassical facade with its prominent clock tower is iconic. The exterior is beautifully illuminated at night, making for a striking photo opportunity. Grand Staircase: Inside the concert hall, the sweeping grand staircase with its intricate detailing provides a dramatic backdrop for photos. Concert Hall Interior: The opulent interior of the concert hall, including its ornate ceilings and detailed architecture, is perfect for capturing the grandeur of the venue. Auditorium: The design of the main auditorium, with its classic design elements and seating arrangements, offers a unique angle for photographs, especially during performances. Hallway and Lobby: The hallways and lobby areas, with their elegant design and historical features, can provide interesting and atmospheric shots. Clock Tower: The clock tower, a defining feature of the building, is an excellent subject for both close-up and wide-angle shots, particularly in the evening when it’s lit up. Victoria Concert Hall’s combination of historical charm and architectural elegance makes it a wonderful location for photography.

Always wonderful to attend any concert at Victoria Concert Hall. Aircon is strong, place is clean, even toilets are clean too. The ushers are polite and friendly too. Of course, one pays a price for lower rate tickets in the back row, get poorer quality of sound. We are ok. It is just listening of music to the ears. Hated those who are unwell, coughing throughout without wearing masks. Really inconsiderate.

I didn't go in, but from the outside, the building is very beautiful and photogenic even. There is a big garden outside the building so you can take pictures and enjoy the view. You can see the bridge from the front which is also very nice and compliments the building very nicely so if you can take the pictures from any point of view to include everything that makes the area so nice.

Excellent acoustics. Fantastic artistes and musicians. Come earlier to get your wrist bands for some of the performers for meet greet. The grand old dame of Singapore still holds up its charm with grace and aplomb. Come take photos at night or in the day with Sir Stamford Raffles statue if you happen to be walking in the civic district area.

Stunning concert hall with great acoustics and very comfortable seating. It is nice to have a cultural object in a historical architectural monument. I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience and simplicity of the concert complex, the presence of a restaurant inside the hall, the organization of the concert hall. My wife and I came to the concert of the marvelous harpist Xavier De Maistre and never regretted it. The show was amazing, the staff was friendly, the champagne in the restaurant was decent. I recommend Victoria Concert Hall for a cultural vacation👌

One of the oldest building in Singapore built by the British colonial settlers in 1860s during Queen Victoria. Conserved as one of the historical buildings and still hosting performances daily. Well maintained despite its age. Modern equipment and fitting complement nicely with the old facade. As must go to experience musical or performance in Victorian era hall.

I went here for the 2024 Singapore Piano Festival. Very well organized and managed by the Victoria Concert Hall staff. The staff are very friendly. The building is beautiful. They didn't just organize the concerts, but autograph sessions with the artists also! So I now got both a selfie and autograph with none other than Son Yeol Eum. :-) I really have to thank her and also the VCH staff for that. I'll definitely visit again! I only regret that they didn't let me keep the wristband. Not that I'm very fond of wristbands, but for VCH I'd make an exception, would have been a nice souvenir. The wristbands were only needed if you wanted to get an autograph with one of the artists later.

Yelp
Stunning - is the only word to describe Victoria Concert Hall. It is no wonder that a lot of photographers and instagrammers alike love this place for it's beautiful almost white / grey marble interior, natural light everywhere and THAT spiral staircase. The world needs more of them. When i was there on Sunday, there were at least 10 photographers scattered all over the 3 storey building trying to get the best shot. All 3 floors are open to public and you can walk while admiring the intricate design of the pillars and the walls. Absolutely photogenic. If you are clueless on what upcoming performance to catch, there's a information/ticketing counter where the friendly staffs will answer all queries. Alternatively, there's a huge calendar of events poster posted on the side entrance. I highly recommend checking out this place either you're tourist or a resident here, because you know, you can't be at Orchard Road every weekend.

Yelp
Daaaaang this place is mighty impressive. Did not spend too much time hanging out at the lobby but the 1/2 minute I spent walking in for an orchestra concert impressed me. Inside the hall - comfy audience chair? Check. Massive pipe organ? Check. High ceiling and impressive columns? Check. Great acoustic too. Just wish there was an uncle selling bottled cold water and perhaps kacang puteh?
