This modest accommodation is well situated in the heart of Wellington, walking distance to literally everything, best restaurants in Cuba St and free parking for cars and campervans. You can base yourself here to also do your day trips, with easy access to the freeways. We had Studio 1 which enabled us to prepare some light meals, lift access to the carpark, laundry facilities, very clean and comfortable. No city noise, safe at night. The entrance driveway is on double yellow lines so you can't do a right hand turn into it, make sure you enter Victoria Street from the port end of town. Excellent service from Fiona rescheduling after our flight cancellations and helping us navigate the TV controls. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Decent sized rooms with all the right amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Bed and pillows give a good nights sleep...and a very rare spa bath in the bathroom. Located close to good food choices

They upgraded me (travelling alone) to an apartment with a separate bedroom. The rooms are nice and big and are well equiped. I chose this Motel because of the free parking and it is very close and convenient to walk to the city. |It was quiet during my 3 days stay except the wind howling round the building. There was always a smell of cooking. The room was clean but the laundry room and the surroundings and stair cases were not. There are good curtains but above the door there is a small window and the light shines in all the time.

Location, especially with parking, is fantastic - just a 50m walk down a back exit to Cuba St! The hosts were great and really helpful, e.g. providing some extra accessibility gear (a seat and non-slip bath mat) to make the bathroom more usable for us; letting us leave the car parked there after we'd checked out so that we could do some shopping nearby on foot and wheelchair; contacting us quickly when they found we'd left something in the room. Accessibility is pretty good with lift access to all floors.
Recommended. Really handy for our family holiday exploring Wellie!

The positives are the location - very central 👍🏻 and the parking on site. Good price point also. |The not so goods - very tired rooms in need of maintenance +++. This includes the fixtures and fittings, windows, bathroom, furniture, appliances, and furnishings. |and the noise factor … possibly to be expected given location …but expect to be kept awake if you’re a light sleeper.

The best is the free parking close to the city centre. The room was OK for the price in a city, a bit dated. Bed comfortable. Above the door is a window without curtain, so light shines in all the time. It was relatively quiet except the wind howling round the building. The worst were the kitchen towels. They smelled awful. As I was washing, I washed them as well. There was a huge TV that I did not use. I had a spa bath which I did not use. The shower head should be cleaned. As I had the windows open all the time, dirt flew in, otherwise the room was quite clean but not in the laundry or the staircase. Room service just empties the garbage bin.

Very basic room, comfortable bed, and great location. Right across from Budget rental cars. Walk to Cuba St and shops. Short drive to Te Papa Museum, Mount Victoria or Weta Workshop. Staff was great. They helped me forward a lost article of clothing I've been chasing since the South Island! We had a toaster, microwave, cooktop, coffee plunger, tea, coffee, and milk. Shower was good. No complaints!
