Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel

I was here for a business retreat and can only speak about the hall and some staff I interacted with. The hall is very spacious and has what it takes to host any number. At the restaurant, I must say I did not have a great experience. Everybody there is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode on you. I could not understand what the problem was.

We recently treated our girls to a 2-night stay at this hotel before school resumed. We booked a suite, which was beautifully decorated and spacious. The beddings and towels were immaculately clean, and nice art pieces too. My husband and the girls tried the breakfast, which they described as basic on the first morning. However, they were more pleased with the spread on the second day. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a few issues. We didn't have hot water for the entire duration, which was inconvenient. After reporting the issue on the second day, the repair team took almost an hour to diagnose the problem, only to reveal that one of their two water heaters was faulty. I had to request a bucket, scoop, and boiled water by myself in the kitchenette. Other issues we encountered included a non-functional intercom, scrambled TV channels, and a kitchenette that lacked essential items like plates and cutlery, but they kept a bowl and wooden spatulas, hahaha. I also wish they had plants in the room. Despite these challenges, the staff were friendly and apologetic. Overall, we were relieved to check out after our second day. While the hotel showed promise, the numerous issues detracted from our experience.

The rooms are way better now and the bed? Super cool! I was there a couple of days ago, and there's a huge difference between what I saw when I went there in 2022. I love it! I haven't eaten there though, so I can't say anything about the food.

Rooms need to be refurbished and maintained. Showers were awful, basically broken. Service is great from room service and cafe/ kitchen staff The security is friendly too. Location is good. Would suggest only staying 2 nights max

I have stayed here a few times and it was very nice. The rooms and bathrooms were clean I gave the service a 4 because I don’t remember the staff being very fantastic. But they were not so bad

I do not recommend this hotel. They take money via Expedia and once there they try to get more money from you or ask you to leave even after accepting payment. A total lack of professionalism. Arrogant staff!

Room is dated but the executive suite was spacious! Breakfast was good! My husband ate it every morning!

My family and I recently went on vacation and stayed at the Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel. Our experience was highly enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally professional and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We loved the food and had a lot of fun at the bar area with beautiful Afro music which son loves so much . Blessing Odisi, the reservation executive officer, was incredibly helpful and highly professional given us very details information what to see and do in Lagos. She provided detailed information about places of interest, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. I believe this hotel offers excellent and reliable services, and I highly recommend it to other guests.
