24 Best Things to Do in Hong Kong

"Couples, families, and solo travelers are equally likely to visit Victoria Dockside in hot pursuit of the epic views of Hong Kong’s famous skyline. Beyond the general waterfront appeal, this avant-garde urban village also lures architecture and design nerds seeking to peek into Hong Kong’s evolving cityscape, which increasingly integrates organic structures, high-tech features, and ample greenery. Victoria Dockside gets crowded on weekends, so if you’re even the tiniest bit agoraphobic, take a pass or visit best on a weekday." - Kate Springer

Great little walk seeing the stars hand prints, and the light show… you will get hounded by people trying to sell you boat show tickets, which we did, but I wouldn’t recommend. You get just as good a view from the riverbank and don’t get stuck on a boat for 30 mins.

Absolutely amazing. Place to come and see There are many cool sites and if you are into stars, lots of handprints to discover However, we didn't really know who the stars were Still really cool place. The scenery itself is the best views of Hong Kong Oh and the Bruce Lee statue is moved right towards the end towards Starbucks

A wonderful walk and nicely built walk way for lots of people. Would be good to come here early in the morning. By near noon time to evening time, there will constant streams of tourists. The air is good, the view is great. Been here a few days and like the sea view in the morning.

Absolutely loved it here during the day. At night, crowds start forming at about 630 to watch the building light up. Pretty cool experience.

So, the dockside is a nice place to chill after a day on the town. Around 8pm is the lazer show where building on bothsides of the water put on a show. You jave tye avenue of the stars with a few hollywood stars on it. You can catch many tour boats and the old ferries as well to take you across the water. On the dockside, we have plenty of food stalls as well...

Visited Victoria Dockside today (July 23, 2025), and wow, what a stunning experience! This waterfront destination in Tsim Sha Tsui is a perfect blend of luxury, culture, and breathtaking views. The iconic Victoria Harbour backdrop sets the stage for a memorable outing, with the sleek design of K11 MUSEA stealing the show. The architecture is a work of art, seamlessly mixing modern elegance with Hong Kong’s vibrant energy. I loved strolling along the Avenue of Stars, soaking in the panoramic skyline and snapping photos of the harbor at sunset-pure magic! The mix of high-end shopping, diverse dining options (the artisanal coffee at K11’s specialty cafés was a highlight), and cultural exhibits made it a feast for the senses. The Rosewood Hotel’s chic vibe added a touch of glamour to the atmosphere. What stood out was the lively yet relaxed vibe-perfect for families, couples, or solo explorers like me. The open spaces and greenery offered a refreshing break from the city hustle. Pro tip: check out the art installations scattered around; they add a unique, creative flair. Only suggestion? Maybe more signage for first-timers to navigate the sprawling complex. Otherwise, Victoria Dockside is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Hong Kong’s modern charm with a nod to its cultural roots. I’ll be back!

As a tourist I spent the maximum time here, Legoland, space museum, hop and hop off bus point, symphony of lights show (which was not that great maybe because there were no fireworks). The best place to relax with friends, family and a date too. A cup of coffee and watch the boats pass by.

As a tourist, we need to go at least once here to experience the night at Victoria Dockside. Though I didn’t get to see the lights display at 8pm, as we only arrived here about 10pm. Came on a weekend, and as usual there’s a lot of people still hanging around here. The walkway not so bright but can still see your pathway. I see some people jogging here at night too. I come from the other side of the Victoria Dockside. So we used the subway to go across to the other side of the highway.
