My wife and I recently had dinner at Victoria Falls Waterfront, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable evenings of our trip to Livingstone. The setting alone is worth the visit — right on the banks of the Zambezi River, with the sun setting in the distance, casting golden light across the water Overall a great view of the river as the boats cruise by. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of hippos and crocodiles nearby, which added a magical touch to the already stunning atmosphere. The restaurant has a warm, laid-back vibe, perfect for unwinding after a day of activities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which made us feel relaxed and well taken care of throughout the evening. We decided to try their wood-fired pizza — something many had recommended — and it truly lived up to the hype. Crispy base, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of flavor. If you're looking for a romantic dinner spot, a place to enjoy drinks by the water, or just a great meal in Livingstone, Victoria Falls Waterfront is a fantastic choice. We’d definitely return on our next visit.

The public facilities were all good - restaurant, bar and reception however the rooms left much to be desired. Our rooms were tired and in need of upgrading. The door to the restroom in our room was warped and wouldn’t close completely, there were big gaps under the entryway door which meant we frequently saw critters - mostly crickets (and a spray can of bug killer was in every room - hardly inspiring. Breakfast was good and the river views marvelous so ultimately it was an ok place to sleep considering the prices of other hotels on the river

We stayed for 2 nights in a Garden Room. Comfortable beds, a roomy shower, and an outdoor verandah with comfy chairs. However, you could hear your neighbours talking and moving about as well as the people in tents behind our room. Helpful staff and well maintained gardens. The restaurant has great river views but service is very slow and the food ok.

Fantastic range of well priced accommodation including the lovely campsite where we stayed - beautiful trees, loads of space and a lovely pool. And the best hot showers! The river front bar and restaurant is good value, the sunset cruise and whitewater rafting highly recommended.

I solo traveled to Livingstone and thoroughly enjoyed the efficiency, hospitality and kindness at this hotel. Its location Is very conveniently on the Zambezi giving you the opportunity to experience the wildlife up and close (I saw a croc basking in the water right outside my room). The hotel is in the National park and quite close to the falls. Additionally, you get to enjoy breakfast/lunch views of the Mosi-oa-tunya since the water rising can be spotted from the restaurant area. The entire trip had me feel welcomed, safe and the staff were ever so helpful whether for booking adventures or driving an uninvited visitor (bug) out of my room. ;) I’ll certainly go back if I’m in Livingstone again.

Property is nicely situated directly at the river, restaurant and bar are overlooking the river. Staff at reception is excellent, very helpful, friendly and quick to respond. Secure parking, good food, lots of activities offered from separate activity office directly next to reception. ||Rooms nice and clean with balcony and comfy beds with mosquito nets (my friends stayed in garden view rooms as river view is being renovated). I stayed in a tent, also comfy, electricity, fan; communal bathrooms get nicely cleaned regularly.||I can definitely recommend staying here, if I am ever in the area again I would return.

We stayed at the Waterfront as a family of four and had a brilliant experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and professional from start to finish, helping us with activities before we arrived and providing great service throughout our stay.||||The location is a real standout — right on the Zambezi with stunning river views, and just a short taxi ride to the Falls (which the hotel can help arrange). We even heard hippos in the evenings, which was a fun bonus!||||The food was great, with something for everyone — including a pizza oven and local Zambian dishes. You can also pop over the footbridge to the David Livingstone hotel next door for a change of scene.||||Highly recommended, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Always a pleasure to stay at Vic Falls Waterfront. An oasis on Zambezi with ice cold pool and tropical garden. Loads of activities available from reception. Plenty of options for accommodation. 10 Minutes Drive to the Victoria Falls. Riverfront Restaurant and bar. Thanks Norbert and the team for making us feel at home.
