We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed with a number of aspects. ||We have been planning to stay at Victoria since we had a wonderful experience at Sunday Brunch in 2016. It no longer offers that which was a huge disappointment and a significant point of differentiation from other properties in the area. ||Our sense is that since M Balland left the resort has deteriorated. ||It was apparently built in 2001 and refurbished in 2011. It would appear only basic maintenance has been done since. ||The resort is in need of a big refurbishment. It needs TLC. Paving and decking need major attention. ||The food offerings and experience were underwhelming (far better options in old town) and service was (generally) unattentive. ||Management presence was lacking. For the week we were there, we would not be able to point out who the F&B manager was or who was managing the property overall. ||As for staff, while all staff were pleasant only one went above and beyond in engaging with us and other customers - “Mr Pool”.||Would we return/recommend friends to come? Maybe, because of the location and colonial feel of the property, but only after we’d ascertained it had been refurbished and improvements made to service levels.

My family and I recently stayed at Victoria resort and spa in Hoi A for 12 nights and the resort and its staff were amazing! This was our first time in Vietnam and the standard has now been set high! The resort and its facility’s were great! The buffet breakfast was good, serving a wide variety of food. Games room was cool, we enjoyed games of pool and ping pong on rainy days. The beach is super clean and the water is super warm and crystal clear. The resort is an about a 20 minute drive from old town, but no worries because they’ve got a shuttle bus that can be booked to take you there. Or you can booked a grab for a reasonable price! But there are heaps of restaurants and spas near the resort aswell. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a conjoined room at the front of the resort. With a balcony overlooking the river, but there’s also villas with beach views if that your vibe aswell. The resort feels very luxurious but also cozy. The staff were all so lovely and always remembered our names. The resort is smaller than some othered we’ve stayed in, in previous travels but I like the Victoria for that reason. If I travel back to Hoi An I would definitely stay at the Victoria! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🩷 Extra recommendations! Cáo Cáo (grasshopper) restaurant: is about a 10 minute walk from the resort and I highly recommend that spot! Family run business that serves yummy food!! The staff were super lovely! 6 Cua Dai, Hoi An Bebe spa and gel: again about a 10 minute walk from resort on the same street as Cáo Cáo and the staff was so lovely and great prices! I had a PERFECT back neck and shoulder massage there for 300,000 VND ($17.36 AUD)!! 39 Cua Dai, Hoi An Let’s go Travel: small travel and tour guide business near the Japanese bridge in Old Town was our go to place to book tours!!! My family and I (4 adults) booked Ba Na hills with them and for transport to and from, entry tickets and lunch at the 4 seasons Buffet is was $70 aud each (1.200,000 VND). We also booked Marble mountain and My Son with them and on Klook we booked the lantern boat ride with the aswell! Genuinely let’s go travel was incredible and extremely helpful, Our Guide Veit was lovely aswell!

Love this hotel! There’s a free shuttle/taxi service to old town which is really helpful. The vibe of the hotel is lovely, and reminded me of a scene from an Agatha Christie book (in a good way!). There’s some open burning that takes place on the streets outside of the hotel and some of the smoke came through into the rooms overnight which made my throat a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, I loved my stay here. The breakfast was relaxing, so was the pool, the beach, and ping pong area. The staff were very helpful and nice too!

Awesome resort, picture perfect. Set with beautiful scenery out the front & back of the resort. The buffet breakfast is amazing.. I ate so much! It's not far from the old market either, which is full of tourist related market streets. A top tier resort for sure. I am from Australia & I loved it.

I had a wonderful stay at Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa. The resort has a beautiful colonial style mixed with the charm of Hoi An’s old town. From the moment I arrived, everything felt peaceful and welcoming.||The location is perfect – right by Cua Dai Beach, only a short ride to the ancient town. I loved riding a bicycle along the coast in the morning, feeling the sea breeze and watching the sunrise.

I’ve just walked in today with my pet (I had him in my arms) when the guard started screaming at us, apparently dogs are not allowed. Well we were there to see if was possible to celebrate our wedding and surely we won’t. But I want to leave this review to let understand people what is the attitude if you go there and who is the real animal that should not be allowed to work in public. Shame on you.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Victoria Resort. Everyday I felt like I woke up in paradise and was greeted every morning with a delicious breakfast. During the days, I had a large range of activities to do however the main event was at midday at the pool where they handed out massive blocks of ice to play with! In the evenings, when it was cooler, I usually played tennis and football with my family. Both the court and pitch were in amazing condition. I also enjoyed playing tennis with the General Manager most days and he even helped me to improve my game! I would definitely recommend this resort as an incredible holiday destination for anyone!

The Victoria is an excellent destination to relax and have a good time outside the busy Hoi An downtown. The room was kind of clean, but the balconies are not washed automatically. The facility is very well kept, neat breakfast buffet, dedication to the detail. The beach is undergoing protection works, which currently lowers the quality of the experience. We loved the 24-hours open pool.
