The meals were okay, salad was pre-made and soggy. The cutlets were extremely hot on a plate of cold potato bake. The waitress that served me couldn’t understand me and I could barely understand her so there was some misunderstanding on what I wanted for sides. The coke was watered down or something as well, not nice. The atmosphere was nice, not a busy place.

Lovely old hotel with clean comfortable room. Parking is in the street with 2 hour limit during the day. Also no lift so have to carry you bag upstairs. There’s a communal kitchen/lounge area and verandah. Price includes big country breakfast and the staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Very impressed with our recent overnight stay. Basic, but clean, comfortable and quiet room. Well stocked communal sitting area. In a perfect location in the main street. Wonderful, welcoming staff. Breakfast was an added bonus and was delicious and a very generous serving. Will definitely stay there again.

Very reasonably priced meals and cheerful efficient service.

One of the best country hotels we've stayed at. 4 times. In central CBD Griffith and easily accessible to local wineries. All rooms with ensuites. Larger for couples: Rooms 7,9,12 and 14. Great food and drink and a fantastic full country breakfast included. Excellent staff also. Highly recommended. David and Penny.

Pub was moderately busy but not noisy. 5 meals cost $130 so not too expensive. Quality of service was excellent and our meals came in about 35 minutes. I had a veal parmigiana and it was spot on. Someone had the seafood basket and it included a couple of magnificent fresh prawns. No complaints elsewhere. Don't know about bar prices, I had my kids with me and for once I didn't have to shout.

Great location, Value for money, close to all the shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, check in and check out fast. The room had everything we needed, clean, good shower pressure. Dinner and Breakfast great, we would stay again. However I wouldn't recommend for someone with limited mobility as there are stairs to the 1st floor and no lift.

Worst dining experience I have ever had! Ordered 2 scotch fillets, both with surf and turf and pepper sauce 45 mins had gone by and people who ordered after us had gotten their meals before us so we went to ask and they had only just started cooking it, after an hour the food came out. 1 steak was missing the surf and turf and the other was missing the pepper sauce. So I asked if I could get the surf and turf as that’s what I had ordered, waitress told me she had made a mistake and pressed the wrong button and that’s why I didn’t get the surf and turf. And that if I wanted the surf and turf (which I had asked for) I would have to go up and pay an extra $8. And I asked if they would give me it for free considering the meal had taken an hour and she said no. So I paid the extra $8 and my meal was taken away and brought back after another 5 mins. They forgot the pepper sauce so I had to go back up to the counter to get that. After we ate no one came up and spoke to us with an apology or any attempt to rectify the horrible service we had. Could not have had a worse experience

Just visiting in town and very hungry for some good pub grub First off awesome pub food , the family had chicken Parma with veg I had the open steak sandwich , hands down the best steak sandwich I've had in a very long time . Big servings and a massive piece of steak that was cooked reasonably , the family were very happy with their parmas especially how we'll grilled the cheese was on top and had crunchy ends ,
