Victoria House Room Only Accommodation

Believe all of the hype and positive reviews: Victoria House is like a five star luxury hotel for a guest house budget. Jan makes every guest feel like a VIP, I don't think I've ever received such a warm welcome. She can't do enough for her visitors and the view from her terrace on the city walls is spectacular. The room was gorgeous with a four poster bed and a really nice en suite bathroom. We were sad we were only staying for one night! We will certainly be back and stay for longer.

I could not have had a more wonderful stay here. I booked to stay here as I planned to go up Snowdon and if you are looking for comfort after mountain climbing, you needn’t look any further. Jan was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. The room had everything we needed and more, including a host of toiletries in case we had forgotten anything. Jan accommodated a later check in after we got held up in traffic and even offered us access to a bath, where our room had a shower, to soothe the aching muscles post climb. The decor, like the views, is incredible and I would not hesitate to book again. Jan went over and above; even extending to kindly returning an item of jewellery that I had mistakenly left behind! Wow. This is probably one of the nicest place I have ever stayed in for such a reasonable rate. What a lovely accommodation in Caenarfon! First, the location is great--right next to the water and close to all the shops. Quiet enough to rest. The room is wonderful, equipped with everything you could possibly need--a fridge, kettle, microwave, a bath pillow and tray, glasses of all types, biscuits, teacakes. A hot tub a with jets at the end of a day of hiking is literal perfection. The room was absolutely perfectly clean, not a speck of dust or unwanted clutter. Bed is very comfortable and decor celebrates Welsh craft. Jan is a really kind host and made the trip so comfortable and easy. The price is very, very reasonable. Thank you for such a comfortable accommodation, Jan!!

My partner and I had the loveliest stay at Victoria House for my birthday. Jan and team were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and couldn't do enough to make our stay special. Jan even surprised me with a lovely birthday card, biscuits, and prosecco to celebrate. ||The room was decorated beautifully, and we loved watching the sun set from the castle wall which was accessible from the garden. ||Caernarfon is a lovely, relaxing place to visit, with plenty great shops, bars, and restaurants.||Diolch yn fawr iawn!

Victoria House was a beautiful place to stay whilst visiting Northern Wales.very comfortable accommodation and great service. Jani was a super friendly host who helped us with everything. Everything was comfortable and to our liking. Highly recommend

Had a brilliant couple of days in Victoria House. The room was great, couldn't fault it. The bed was really comfortable and there was a massive en suite bathroom. Jan, the owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend it.

Our stay at Victoria House has been home from home. A beautiful spacious bedroom, beautifully decorated. En-suite bathroom. Had everything we needed and more. Lovely welcome from Jan the owner. Had Inca our cockerpoo with us and she was also made to feel at home. The location is fabulous close to everything. There is ample information in the info pack in the room and Jan has a wealth of local information. I would loved to stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful, CLEAN, very well appointed B&B perfectly run by an extremely gracious host. Rooms are spacious w modern en suite bathrooms & lots of extra thoughtful touches (toiletries, tea & fridges in rooms, robes & slippers). Hostess did so much to make our stay comfortable, including parking her car out front to stake us a parking space for arrival on a narrow crowded street. Gave us a lot of helpful info on where to eat dinner, visiting the castle that is main attraction, and getting around & into the nearby park. Breakfast was extensive, well prepared & generous. Highly recommended, if/when we return we would definitely stay here again.
