I chose this hotel as it is <100m from my conference venue. It is decent, quite spacious and there’s some disco music late Fri/Sat night that were not loud enough to bother me. Hotel counter staff is ok but can be a bit more smiley.

Location no doubt very convenient but parking is based on luck because only public parking is available or that few parking in front of the hotel small alley. If it rains you be wet. However it can be extremely noisy at night as alot of people especially motorists loves to hang out along the hotel, pumping their engine or letting it run and I cant sleep on my first night, second night were slight better maybe because it's a weekday. Meanwhile, certain area of the room can be dusty and it's difficult to get assistance from housekeeping they dont stay in house going to the reception is no help he will tell you that he cant do anything until housekeeper comes to work the next day. Remember no hair dryer on loan here. Be sure to bring one.

Disappointed with the experience. I booked a room at Victoria Inn but had to check in at Victoria Garden Hotel to get the keys. Around 1:30 AM, I was woken up by a call from the receptionist asking me to go down and open the door for another guest because they had no access and the security guard was missing. As a paying customer, I shouldn’t be responsible for guest access at that hour. A hotel should have proper access systems in place.

Close to the pier and in the historic area. The only thing to note is that the hotel should have parking facilities.

The only thing this place has going for it, are the big rooms. It was nice to be able to spread out, the air con worked good, we stayed here almost a week. PLEASE find competent staff to work the front desk. This is damaging your business. I am not the first person to complain about this. I asked for them to mark on a map where Victoria Inn was and the front desk girl literally marked our spot about 10 blocks off from where we truly where. Hello, your staff should at the very least know where your hotel is located. The only knowledgeable person working there is this man that spoke English and he worked in the kitchen during breakfast. ||Also up grade your internet. Stop advertising like you have it, you don't. We left the hotel to go hang out at a nearby cafe almost every day so we could use the internet. Internet is a basic need for travelers as well as fridges. You should provide both of those things and you don't.
