On the Grid : Victoria Met Albert

"“For the woman who has everything and the man who needs nothing”, this is the perfect place to find decorations, fashion and accessories for those ‘what on earth to get them?’ gifts. The awesome stationery and match box collection is reason enough to visit." - Gabby Lord

Super cute shop, I got a candle and the matching candle holder the shop Assistent helped me to find. I would recommend the shop for finding small presents and for elegant basic items like jewelry or clothing. Will definitely return

Victoria met Albert is one of my favorite stores in Berlin. I can always find inspiration browsing through their colorful shelves. Perfect go-to when I need to find a present or decorate my home

Very nice shop with a fine selection for men, from pants and simple, clean shirts to outdoor equipment. Everything you need to look good at the office and while enjoying a sundowner in the evening. And the owner is quite a nice, laid-back guy. It is a nice and uncomplicated shopping experience!

Having to buy presents a week before Christmas is the stuff of nightmares - in a store buzzing with the Saturday afternoon crowd too! Not only did I find something for most people on my list (and I'm really happy with what I picked), but what stood out was the patience and care of the owners: they individually wrapped everything and made the presents look so beautiful, remaining always cheery and chatty in the eye of the Christmas crowd storm. Looking forward to coming back, bis nächstes Mal :)

A staff came straight away and start lecturing us when we left 2 hangers in the changing room after trying out clothes. She said something like “ don’t do this, it doesn’t look nice”. We understand that if would be the best if we did not forget those 2 hanger and made her job easier, but she could have say that in a better way.

Very rude & poor customer service :( Beautiful shop but would never return. Much better places to shop at in Berlin.

overpriced and performative customer service, not a pleasant experience

I love Victoria met Albert, and I love their products! Unfortunately, the store manager, a lady with a grey bob haircut, is incredibly rude and unhelpful. She ignored me throughout my visit, although I was alone in the store. Also pretended to not understand German, although she spoke it with another client when I was leaving. Very disappointing, I will from now on not shop here anymore.

Yelp
This is a nice shop on the corner of Helmholtzplatz, there's interior stuff for your house, as well as clothing, shoes & accessories for both him and her - Victoria and Albert, i guess. I especially love that they stock Sessun, a favorite french label of mine - but there's also quite a few other labels hanging on the racks. It's usually a bit of a hit or miss for me, and my taste, but I usually find one piece I quite like. Their selection of home goods goes from funny to boring, and the only thing I have ever picked up were some tea towels on sale for 2 euros a piece.. Prices are decent, the service is great, so all in all worth a peak when in the neighbourhood.
