Victoria Nui Sam Lodge

Right on Nui Sam with fantastic open views over rice paddies, and feels very close to nature. It is extremely quiet, especially at night, and clearly best suited for people who want a relaxing stay rather than sightseeing at a fast pace. Service was good and attentive. One thing to be aware of is that there are quite a lot of steps up and down to reach the rooms. The staff will kindly carry your luggage, but you still need to walk yourself, so it may not be ideal for elderly guests traveling alone or anyone with difficulty walking. Breakfast is limited in choice but tasty and well prepared. A practical tip if you want to buy dried local specialties is to go to the market at the bottom of Nui Sam. It is less picturesque than Chau Doc market, but the products are good quality and prices are not inflated. For dried squid or fish specifically, go to “Cô Mỵ” shop inside the market. She also has a separate shop on đường 1 near the market which holds different products. We also enjoyed spotting birds around the property, including bim bip, hoopoe, long tailed black birds, and several other Vietnamese species. Would definitely recommend, if you want a calm and scenic place to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.

Victoria Nui Sam Lodge offers a breathtaking escape with incredible sunset views over the rice fields. The unique stone architecture and beautiful hillside staircases make every corner of the resort look like a postcard. We loved the fresh breakfast, especially the tropical fruits and rich Vietnamese coffee. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly service made our stay in Nui Sam truly memorable. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking for a quiet, scenic, and authentic experience!

Beautiful place with a great location and a very relaxing atmosphere. The view from the lodge is amazing and the overall experience was enjoyable. The service was also good and the staff were friendly. The only small downside is that the room felt a bit dark, especially at night. More lighting would make the room feel more comfortable. Overall, it was still a very nice stay and I would recommend this place.

I had an amazing stay at Victoria Núi Sam Lodge! The location is absolutely stunning — perched on the mountainside with breathtaking views of rice fields and sunsets. The rooms are beautifully designed with a cozy, natural vibe that blends perfectly with the surroundings. The infinity pool overlooking the valley is definitely the highlight! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, always smiling and attentive to every detail. The restaurant also offers delicious local and Western dishes — the breakfast buffet was lovely. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and comfort, this is the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy the view and atmosphere

If you love a retreat in the mountain, Victoria Nui Sam is the place to be. The beautiful hotel nests in the mountain, giving you a 360 view of the town. It is also a wonderful place to enjoy sunset on your trip to Mekong Delta. Looking at online pictures, you might feel the hotel and rooms very old. Yes the hotel might be outdated, but it is squeaky clean, very lovely. It gives a relaxing vibe once you set your first steps into the hotel. The food is top notch, so dont worry if you cannot find any place to eat in nearby area, just have your meal at the hotel.

Amazing place, each guest have it own small house with it own very huge private balcony with privilegied view over the horizon composed of rice paddle fields and distant mountains, photographic at sunset. The rooms are set at different level of the topography, surrounded by greenery, somewhere near the summit of the montain with multiple brick stair and narrow corridor; bold, modern, warmth and unique. Staffs, rooms and foods ; high quality. Not near the center, but I was surprise to see that two other couple travelers who was in the same speedboat as me crossing Cambodia choose Victoria Nui Sam Lodge, good confortable place to rest.

A great location, dynamic views, nice rooms, clean but a manager and assistant manager who lied to us. We booked an expensive 4 person excursion for our group, one 0f our group fell ill and was unable to join. We were informed afterwards that the places on the trip were non refundable due to illness. I complained this "rule" was not explained when we booked. The assistant mangeress said she would refund and manageress did not say she would block the refund, on the contrary she appeared to agree with the refund. This all occured as we checked out after three nights. Six weeks later, no refund has arrived. This is so unprofessional and poor I advise avoiding this poorly managed place. 1 star is too generous, this is a complete con, led by an unprofessional management keen to maximise profits at a client's expense. Avoid. You can enjoy the view by going for a coffee (watch the bill).

What a gem of a place. It has everything. Views, comfort, good food, good vibes, good service, good location. We only stayed a single night before crossing the border at Ha Tien. I wish we’d booked longer. The standard and attention to detail is very high making it actually very good value for money in my opinion. I will be making plans to return….
