Victoria Palace Hotel

This is an EXCELLENT hotel. We had 3 rooms. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome. The staff is great -- especially the concierge, who tirelessly made dinner reservations for us -- including showing us the menus and photos of the restaurants he recommended. The hotel is clean, pretty, amazingly well-located. We did not expect as warm a welcome as we received. Our go-to in Paris moving forward. And the breakfast buffet was super yummy.

Absolutely wonderful experience here. I can't say enough good things about our experience there. All the staff were fantastic, but especially Areski. He is a gem and a total professional. He was so helpful to us and was a joy to interact with each day. He took care of everything for us and gave us excellent recommendations. So thankful we connected with him when we first arrived. My wife and I are completely happy with our stay and would absolutely stay there in a heartbeat. Thank you, all!!

The hotel is well situated. The reception, lounge and bar areas are pleasant and the receptionist was pleasant when we arrived. Our room was nicely styled, with a separate toilet, although there was no hand basin, which was disappointing. The bathroom was large, the shower was great but overall it was poorly lit. The bed, made up of 2 single beds, was very large and very comfortable other than where the beds joined in the middle, which created a hard ridge. The wardrobe and shelving was large enough for 2 people staying for 3 nights but we needed more than 4 coat hangers, which were given when we asked for them. There are no coat hooks on any doors, so robes, towels etc had to be hooked over the towel rail. The internal shower door knob was loose, which we fixed with a tissue! There was a square WET patch of carpet in front of the TV, which looked like a repair, when we mentioned this to the receptionist, she came up to check, but called us later to say nothing could be done and that we needed to raise this with the manager the following day. It seems no one is checking rooms before guests check in. |The room service food is expensive, average quality and was cold when we finally go it! Breakfast on the other hand was really very good and the Sri Lankan member of staff was particularly helpful and pleasant. The outside courtyard is also lovely. |My main issue with the hotel was the lack of finesse, nothing was too much trouble if you asked, but you had to keep asking, e.g there was no water bottle left in the room one morning, coffee pods were not replaced daily, I could go on! Be aware that whilst I anticipated expensive drinks at the bar €31 is excessive for one double G&T! Thank you to the manager who refunded €14. Overall whilst we enjoyed our stay I think perhaps the hotel has become a little complacent, particularly as there appeared to be a lot of young members of staff in the reception area, who seemed to be doing very little other than chatting to each other and clearly they need some direction/ management.

Excellent accommodations overall. Staff was awesome. Great location. Excellent bar. My one issue was the room was very warm. The AC just wouldn’t cool the room enough. They gave us a fan but still slept hot. If they could straighten this out we will come back for sure!

This hotel was excellent! Clean, comfortable, quiet and a great location. The staff was amazing! They were always willing to help and answer any questions we had. We'll stay here again the next time we're in Paris.

Attentive staff! The staff here was incredible from start to finish and the location was perfect. We loved Apollonia at the bar. She made us wonderful custom craft cocktails, makes all of her own syrups and has a ton of knowledge. We had drinks at the bar each night and really enjoyed chatting with her. Rooms are well styled and of good size for Paris! Lobby is also well styled and a great place to unwind. We’d definitely stay again!

A really super boutique hotel with particularly lovely and welcoming staff, and in a great location close to Montparnasse. ||Spacious modern rooms with a delightful internal courtyard for breakfast and a bar that stays open to midnight. What else could one want? ||I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough and will definitely go back next time I am in Paris!

We had a lovely stay at the Victoria Palace Hotel! The entire staff was wonderful - exceptionally friendly, helpful and outgoing. The rooms were clean, cheery and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. The bar and lounge areas were first class. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Paris!
