Yelp
Friendly, warm, professional staff in a clean, aromatic, charming hotel near the Saint Placide Metro station. The staff speak excellent English, the housekeeping staff are very fast and efficient, and the breakfast buffets are outstanding, far beyond anything you'd normally find in Paris. There are so many choices in pastries, juices, fruit, yogurt, eggs, coffees, the list is endless. The hotel bartenders were polite and knowledgeable and likeable.
There is a grocery store literally one hundred feet from the hotel front door, offering quite a selection of sandwiches, sodas, juices, etc.
1 minor complaint: as noted elsewhere many times, the classic room is quite small, though the bathroom is nice and compact, but there is nowhere to open your suitcase aside from the bed. There is a small closet/bookcase for small items. The fridge and Nespresso coffeemaker were much appreciated.
1 major complaint: avoid rooms on the front of the hotel, or at least the lower rooms on the front, because the cafe directly across the street remains lively and loud into the small hours, making it difficult to sleep before 1am.
