Great out door ice, not for hockey, there is a really cool ice path you can skate down and checkout, wide enough you feel in control and can pass people, heated change room with lockers if you need that's clean and in good condition small drink stand that's open during peak hours and lots of our door seating spots to talk a rest without taking off your skates or to put your gear on without going all the way to the building , small park for children and a pretty big parking lot(does fill up though)

This place is great. Even when it's incredibly busy I still feel like there's tons of room on the ice. The path can be a bit bumpy but still very skateable.

Spent a wonderful afternoon skating at this well kept outdoor ice skating rink. Love the trail off the main skating area, slightly rougher than the main skating rink but still lots of fun for the adventurous skaters out there! The change area for putting on skates is super warm and has lots of space for your bags and boots. Highly recommend this fun space! Also have a spot for roasting wieners if you are energetic enough to bring wood and enjoy the spot right beside the rink for a picnic.

Victoria Oval Skating Rink is hands down our favorite outdoor rink in Edmonton! It’s impressively large and always well-maintained, making for a fantastic skating experience every time. We especially love the cozy fire pits and picnic tables, which create such a nice, welcoming atmosphere. One of the most magical features is the beautiful pathway off the main rink, which is beautifully lit up at night—it’s absolutely stunning! Whether you're skating or just enjoying the surroundings, it’s a wonderful place to be. This is our go-to rink, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect outdoor skating spot!
