This is the second time I have stayed at this delightful hotel and I feel sure it will not be the last. It really is worthy of its five star rating on Trip Advisor. The rooms are spotlessly clean, warm and well equipped. There’s a very nice residents lounge where you can sit in comfortable settees and enjoy a quiet drink. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning.

Stunning building, quiet location, lovely quiet rooms. Great breakfast, attentive friendly staff.||We stayed for 2 nights in room 2, with a view of Stirling castle. Lovely clean, quiet comfy room.||I can't comment on afternoon tea or dinner as the orangery does not open on Monday & Tuesday at this time of year, shame we really were looking forward to eating food of the same standard as our breakfast

Everyone was spectacular. The guest house is so beautiful and cozy. I loved reading in the living room each night before dinner. Be sure to eat at their restaurant even if you do not stay there. Chef is amazing! They are only 10-15 mins from all the major attractions.

Service at this B&B was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Our room #5 was very nice in relation to the bedroom itself, however the pillows were so thin we did not sleep comfortably. The bathroom, however, was absolutely terrible. There was an odor during our entire stay to the point I dreaded to even go in the bathroom. The bathtub is a rolltop tub that is very high off the floor. It would be very easy to slip and fall. The shower curtain surrounds you completely and leaves you hardly any room to move while attempting to take a shower. The curtain sticks to you. The curtain is suspended from the ceiling, and it would be very easy to accidentally pull it down. This must have happened before as we were told to be careful in regard to this. For the price, this is not acceptable. Our stay was barely 48hrs, so we didn't bother to mention our concerns to management as the inn was fully booked so we would not have been able to move rooms. I would stay here again, but I would absolutely avoid room #5.

I had been looking for something different for a friend’s birthday and although I had never been to Victoria Square hotel, before I was impressed by the comments already left in TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! We had the grand afternoon tea, which ticked all the boxes as far as quality, freshness of food, variety and value for money. There was so much, we couldn’t eat it all so we were given a ‘doggy’ box to take cakes home with us. The service from the staff, the surroundings just made the afternoon even more special. I would highly recommend Victoria Square, will certainly be making a return visit!

This is the place to stay in a magnificent Victorian house and live that experience attended by Margo and Francesca. The details and the exquisite meals in their restaurant are unbeatable. The room was large with high ceilings and the place is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Stirling. It is very quiet, clean and the views from the windows are dreamy. A stay in Stirling would be incomplete without having rested here. Highly recommended!

A beautiful character filled property in a peaceful square, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Stirling and the castle. |We were greeted with a very warm welcome and that set the tone for the friendly and helpful hospitality throughout our stay.|The breakfasts were a particular highlight and we thoroughly recommend Victoria Square.

Lovely, comfy room and friendly, helpful staff. We only spent one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The bed was extremely comfortable and we made goo use of the fan… one of the few warm nights we encounter.|A good breakfast and suggestions/help given to accommodate dietary restrictions. ||Thank you all.
