We had such a fantastic stay at Victoria Square. The B&B itself is absolutely beautiful, with elegant rooms that are both comfortable and stylish. Our room had a lovely view that made waking up each morning a real treat.||What made the experience even more special were the people—the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. ||The Orangery dinner was absolutely fantastic and the perfect end to the night with the experience provided starting in the sitting area and moving into The Orangery. ||The location is perfect too: peaceful, yet just a short distance to old town and Stirling Castle.||Our only regret is that we didn’t book more nights! We would have loved to stay longer and soak up more of the charm and hospitality along with the city. Highly recommended!

We spent only one night at Victoria Square, and it was absolutely a delightful experience! The room was huge and the owner allowed us to check in quite early, which was very helpful. Our evening dinner was simply amazing. We had an early cocktail hour in the sitting room, followed by a delicious dinner. We only wish that we had planned for additional nights there in Sterling, which is a truly fascinating village.

We recently spent one night in Stirling at the Victoria Square Hotel and it made for an outstanding first night on a road trip in Scotland. It's located in a beautiful residential neighborhood overlooking Victoria Square yet it's a short walk to all the Stirling sites. We were greeted by Margo, who gave us one of the warmest friendliest introductions to any hotel anywhere in the world. She kindly allowed us to check in early, escorted us to the room, and explained everything about the room, its amenities, and the property. We felt at home immediately and happy to have chosen this property.|We had a large room overlooking the square, including some easy chairs and table in the bay window, perfect for reading the next morning. The room is tastefully decorated, really well-maintained, and the owners have thought of everything -- coffee/tea/sherry/cookies in the room, a fan (although the neighborhood is so quiet that we could leave a window open at night and not hear a thing), nice robes, great TV, fluffy towels, and chilled water in the fridge. We ordered our breakfast entrees the evening before and enjoyed a lovely served breakfast (with some items on a buffet) in the pretty breakfast room. I wish all inns were like Victoria Square and we definitely wish we'd stayed another night.

Lovely building situated in a quiet area.|The parking is first come first serve, but we got a spot with no issues.|The room was comfortable and well stocked with drink n a couple of biscuits.|The en-suite was nice and the shower was lovely. The toilet had strict rules on what you could put down it, so no flushable toilet wipes.|The seats in the room were comfortable and having somewhere nice to sit was great when working on a laptop. Could benefit from some high level cleaning as there were some cobwebs on the roof.|Breakfast was nice with attentive staff situated in the dining room.|A nice quiet stay and slept really well. |Thanks

It was a pleasure to stay at the placid, stately, beautiful, invitingly large and decorous Victoria Square Hotel. I felt like I was staying a little bit out of time, like I was a lady at a country estate for the weekend, but without feeling costume-y or retro. The place also managed to be elegant and modern, especially in its color scheme, too! I would go back in a second to stay longer to enjoy the atmosphere and the amenities. It was very relaxing and luxurious to stay here!

A converted Victorian house with ensuites for each room. The room was spacious and clean. The location was a bit of a walk to the castle, but it was not a hard walk and gave us a chance to see the town which was lovely. The included breakfast was very good, unfortunately the day we were there was the one day a week the restaurant was closed for dinner. We were there during the heat wave and a fan was included in the room which gave some relief.

Victoria Square is a lovely hotel in a beautiful area of Stirling. The building is well appointed and decorated to make you feel as if you’re staying in someone’s grand home. The room was comfortable with generous amenities and the staff very welcoming and helpful. It was a delightful experience and one we would not hesitate to recommend and repeat.

I have been working more than 10 years in hotels and hospitality industry and this is a 2-3 star hotel. I won’t recommend you to go if you expect 5 star. It is far from a 5 star hotel. Services are not enough. Rooms weren’t so good. It was so hot and they don’t have air conditioners. In my room the cold washing hands wasn’t working. The plugs wasn’t working all of them. You have to choose the breakfast the day before. Breakfast is not a 5 star hotel breakfast. The receptionist wasn’t kind about giving alternatives to have dinner outside the hotel because they were fully booked, and suggested to call by ourselves other restaurants instead of making her the reservation. The location is good.
