This is a phenomenal little local place. We are always warmly greeted when we arrive, making us feel more like family than strangers.
On this particular visit, it was the coldest day of the year (so far). We wanted something to warm us up. We both ordered a bowl (large for me, small for Stacy) of their famous pozole verde. It did not disappoint, a rich broth loaded with hominy, pork, and onions. It was loaded up on top with thinly sliced radishes and lettuce. It was served with crema and salsa verde on the side. This soup was the perfect meal for a chilly day in San Miguel de Allende.
I should also mention that this time I ordered their hot chocolate (not something I usually order in restaurants). It was rich and delicious.
For a delicious, inexpensive meal with amazing service I highly recommend Victoria's.
