VS's new motto: if you ain't skinny, you ain't worth it!
every. Single. Time. I come in here i am greeted with snotty, stuck up, entitled employees. Help is practically a luxury service only reserved for ladies who walk through the door looking like they have money. News flash, not everyone who has money to spend in your store looks like they are a CEO. There's never anyone at the fitting rooms either, and if you ask for one you better hope you have 30 mins to spare because they're too worried gossiping next to the lingerie. On top of that, I know my size and also what sizes typically dont work at VS or pink, and EVERY time i come in they recommend a 34DD because its the "sister size" of a 32DDD. A very quick, simple search of Google tells me that while, yes, they are sister sizes and can hold the same breast volume, the fits are different and for different body shapes. So, I say again, I do not like 34DD.
Yesterday I went into this store because it's my anniversary on Sunday. I was super excited to pamper myself for this, but I couldn't at this store.
I was looking for a strapless bra and some underwear to go with my dress. I can really only shop at places like this because of my size and i dont like to purchase bras unless i can try them on. Oher places don't normally carry my size. I couldn't find my size in the bras that I wanted so I gave up because there was no one around that I could ask for help and went to go check out with the one pair of panties that I found that I liked. At the register, the girl asked me if I found everything okay. And I said "no you guys don't have my size." She responded with "which size?" and when I told her she gave me the same exact spiel about the sister sizes. I calmly explained to her that I don't like the fit in the field of a 34DD so I will pass. Instead of simply leaving me alone, and instead of allowing me to check out and leave, she started arguing with me.. "Well they're the same so it would fit if you're a 32DDD." So I once again told her that I had tried that size many times and I still didn't like any of the bras that were in that size. This is a common reoccurance when I go in there, every single employee always knows better (apparently). As far as I'm concerned, the motto is the customer is always right in matters of taste.... but not at VS. Don't bother bringing your business here unless you look like one of their models, because I see them treat skinny women with small boobs with the utmost respect. That's not me being rude to the customers, that's me making an observation from the countless times I have been belittled and treated like trash by the employees. Save yourself the headache and go to Soma, they will spend 30+ minutes from the moment you walk in to make sure your bra fits perfectly. Plus, their bras are way higher quality and last much longer (and they are way more cute IMO)
