Visited for dessert on a Friday night. The place was about half full, with big groups. The service was long and i had to follow up my order of one cake slice five times. Not sure if they have a manager to oversee things but the service seemed disorganized. Prices are expensive too. My cake slice was 275 the cake was slightly sweeter than my preference (to think I have a sweet tooth)

My mom & I went here for dessert. The cakes were good, nothing special. What frustrated us was the service. When we entered, no one offered us a seat and we have to look for ourselves. Also, no waiter even handed us a menu, after waiting too long I just went to the counter to order for myself. They have a preference serving foreigners, ang bibilis magserve. Pero sa kapwa Pinoy, 30 mins na kami sa table no tissue no water no everything. 2 cake slices took 15 mins to be served. Take out took 30 mins. I had to pay again sa counter by myself because it was hard to catch the waiters attention. Overall really frustrated. For the price and experience, dining here is NOT worth it.

Celebrated Mother's Day here today. We highly recommend beef salpicao, beef caldereta, lumpiang sariwa, pancit canton, sisig, baby squid, and bagnet chips! Our daughter really loved their beef salpicao and ordered an extra serving just for herself. Miguel, who took care of our order, is so attentive, and his service is top-notch! Miguel is an asset to this restaurant, a very pleasant guy, and you can see his dedication to his work. I wasn't able to capture the food mentioned above as we were hungry 😁. We also highly recommend their deserts!

Wow this place was really awesome and for a foreigner like me it was a great intro to ilocano food. - 🍺 The honey ale was very tasty and refreshing. - The pinakbet vegetable dish was rich with flavor. - 🥣 The showstopper for me was the sinigang bangus bayabas (fish soup in guava broth)…it was so surprisingly good! I never thought guava could be used like this and it was just so interesting to eat. - 🍰 We finished the evening with a pistachio Sansrival and ube cake. Both were good but the ube cake was just normal. - 🏠 I have to make a note about the vibe and atmosphere of this place. It is a traditional ancestral Filipino home but revamped into a beautiful restaurant. I loved the decor and choice of wood chairs and cabinets. - 💰 The reason why I took off one star was because I thought the prices were slightly elevated. Perhaps locals who know the food well wouldn’t be willing to pay for a dish they could make themselves? Did the restaurant really differentiate their dishes to the extent of charging a premium price?

We had a wonderful northern Filipino break first at Victorino. The food was good and the serving size generous. The dessert were super good specially the cakes.

We enjoyed every bit of our experience here. The food was great from the mains and dessert, all the way to our takeout. Although it’s a bit on the pricey side, it was definitely worth it. The staff were very accommodating and all smiles. Beautiful interiors and ambience.

Apr 2025 Stand alone local restaurant owned by renowned Heny Sison that primarily offers regional Northern Luzon and classic period Filipino fare but has expanded to a bakery and pastisserie. I have been here many times and it is one of the few standalone establishments that has weathered the test of fads and fashion. The food is loyal to its Filipinana origins as well as most of the bakery creations though it provides access to the early influences of Spanish and American times. There is also an array of take home products for purchase. The service staff are very helpful and well trained. The layout is much like a large old Filipino heritage house with tasteful decor and interiors. Ideal for all types of diners but especially for families and visitors to our country.

Ordered the sinigang na tadjang and adobong baby pusit. The sinigang was thick, hearty, and the perfect kind of asim that sends a tingling feeling down your spine. The tadjang was soft, stringy, and fall off the bone. I wish there was more of it. The pusit too was divine. It was chewy and soft, the garlic bits were a nice touch too. Unlike a lot of other Filipino restaurants, the dishes were not oily at all. But don’t be mistaken, not oily doesn’t mean bland. Both dishes were a flavor bomb, we had to keep reaching for more rice. Washed it all down with a tall glass of iced black gulaman. Very refreshing and doubled as our dessert. The place is charming, clean, and servers very accommodating (just as you would expect when you walk into a Filipino household). Overall, Victorino’s is a winner and proves that this oldie is still a goodie.
