Impressive and robust architecture worth to climb up to the top. Wonderful view of Trieste. The area belongs to the Italian army, but the entry is free. Small exhibition inside about the construction, the architect and the port of Trieste

It's free entrance, it's a military space, it has an elevator to go upstairs, and there are spiral stairs if you like too, the view is amazing as you can see

The Victory lighthouse is in the northwestern part of Trieste, some 10 min drive from downtown. It is on the way to the famous Miramare Castle, so it's convenient to stop.
The lighthouse was erected in memory of Italian WWI sailors. However, we could only observe it from the road beneath, as the gates leading up towards it were closed.
Great bay views

Beautiful views from a top of the lighthouse definitely worth visiting, staff is really nice and helpful. Working hours are a bit weird so just make sure to follow it before visiting, but the view is amazing, you can even see the Miramare Castle from here.

Gorgeous view, nice team, has A LIFT!! A bit of hike if you go from the end of Porto Vecchio, but absolutely managable. Circa 20-30mins.

The most impressive building in Trieste. The view is worth climbing 232 steps.

Stunning view, cozy place. It was closed, actually, but I managed to make some photos of the faro itself:)
The area it stands on is very cozy. It is a real Italian town as I imagined it: narrow streets, cute houses and a view of a gulf.

Excellent views at the top accessible by approximately 200 stairs or elevator. Admission is free. I used the hop on/off bus stop 9 then walked 15-20 minutes uphills using Google maps to reach the base of the lighthouse. I highly recommend visiting for the views.
